This is THE day to stroll through the museums in complete peace and quiet, or almost. May 18 is International Museum Day, established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) in 1977. In concrete terms, not only is admission to all museums free of charge, but many take advantage of it to organize special celebrations or festivities. Why not take the opportunity to visit the "museum island" of Delos? Knowing that it is still relatively out of season, this date is a godsend for visitors.
