Another great tribute to Italian food with this restaurant that offers northern Italian cuisine. Having grown up in Milan for one and Florence for the other, the owner couple had the desire to introduce Brooklynites to the dishes they grew up with. Most of the menu items have their roots in the Tuscan and Florentine tradition. For 4 or more people, a Tuscan family menu is offered. All of this is enjoyed in a charmingly old-fashioned setting inherited from the former pharmacy that once occupied the premises.

In the heart of the charming Clinton Hill district, this Italian restaurant combines all the essentials for a successful romantic dinner or a dinner with friends: a warm atmosphere, absolutely tasty traditional dishes and welcoming waiters who announce the dishes of the day with a singing accent that does not deceive. If the pasta is unanimously appreciated (the paccheri with wild boar won us over!), don't hesitate to let yourself be tempted by one of the main courses, including the sole with lemon, light and perfectly seasoned. An address with a crazy charm.

We love this bright and pleasantly decorated Australian café, which offers brunch specialties. There are no surprises on the menu, which focuses on eggs, served as an omelette, with bacon, or just as you like them. Australians eat them scrambled and then "folded": order the folded eggs for a taste. Sandwiches, salads and wraps are just as good, with a healthy twist (quinoa, avocado and kale salad galore). With sweet potato fries, of course.

Coffee, yes, but Australian, please! Brunch restaurants with the Down Under label are all the rage in New York. It must be said that the Australians are pros at breakfast, too. Ruby's stands out for its surfy decor, which gives the impression of being on the beach. Apart from the classic breakfast dishes, simple and well executed, let yourself be tempted by the Vegemite toast (don't spread too much, for starters...). The burgers, especially the Bronte (with toasted bread slices), are excellent.

A break is in order after discovering this area full of bars and stand-up clubs! Why not counterbalance the day's excesses with some good Vietnamese food? The soups will do you the world of good, whether they are prepared with shrimps, chicken or pork. The inevitable pho, with its noodles and beef cooked in a flavoured broth, is obviously present on the menu. For a more substantial meal, you can choose from a wide variety of noodle, rice and stir-fried vegetable dishes.
