It is the most recent official youth hostel on the island, inaugurated in August 2009. Close to the city center, part of the building is the result of the restoration of the old Pensão Figueira. It offers 52 beds distributed in 15 rooms (14 multiple rooms with WC and 2 doubles with private toilet).
