This rum distillery exists since 1927 (it still works with steam!). You will discover the process of creating rum the old-fashioned way in an area where the machinery and copper stills are exposed, distilling the precious beverage (between April and May). Breathe in the smells of cane juice and rum! Right next door, the Casa do Rum offers you to taste the referenced rums and the famous poncha (agricultural white rum and honey flavoured with orange/lemon or passion fruit).
