Eating and shopping is the winning concept of the culinary chain, which opened its first store in Turin, in the former Carpano vermouth factory. Truffles, chocolate, barolo, oil, wine, bread... the best of regional gourmet products, often in season, can be found here on more than 11,000^m2. You can taste tasty menus on the spot, without forgetting to visit the wine cellar - with more than 35,000 bottles, it is the largest in the city - and the museum upstairs. Workshops, seminars and activities are also organized.

Rather impressive, this shopping center, inaugurated in 2002 in Lingotto, on the site of the former Fiat factory. The rehabilitation of the first car models' fitting track gives the architectural complex a great originality. The famous elliptical ramp is now lined with shop windows, dozens of stores and services, multiple restaurants (lunches and dinners), movie theaters and a parking lot with over 4,000 spaces! Even if you don't plan on shopping, a visit is a must!

Among the finest producers of the famous wine, stop by the Produttori del Barbaresco for a tasting and to bring back a few bottles that will make an impression at your French dinner parties. Fifty families working a little over a hundred hectares have come together to defend and promote the cultivation of their vines and the production of their wines, while respecting tradition. The cantina was founded in 1958.

Porta Palazzo is one of the oldest markets in Europe, as you can hear the merchants' voices in the streets since 1825. In the 1980s, Arab, Chinese and African immigration brought an exotic touch to traditional stalls. Thus, alongside the sellers of fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, merchants of spices, fabrics and cheap clothes gradually set up shop, but not without charm. A stroll is highly recommended, just to contemplate the cheeses of the Piedmontese Alps, the butcher's and fishmonger's halls.

Grom's gelato is made using only fresh, natural ingredients, sourced directly from producers. Founded in 2003 by Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, the company was an instant success, opening stores all over Italy and abroad, in Paris for example. In Turin, there are three gelaterias in the city center. The range changes with the seasons, but in winter the thick, creamy hot chocolates, with or without panna, are extraordinary!

A historic Turin patisserie, opened in the early ^20th century by pastry chef Gustavo Pfatsich, who brought his love of gourmet pastry-making with him from the mountains. Housed in a superb Liberty building, under the arcades, it's a veritable kingdom of gourmet delights. Try the cream spreads and the Fenice cake with meringue and fruit. People come from far and wide to try diamanti arriba, filled chocolates in the shape of precious stones, and marrons glacés, some of the best in town. And at the end of 2024, the patisserie will open a museum dedicated to chocolate!

Established in 1880, Gertosio is a historic pasticceria in the center of Turin. Here, you can stock up on quality spreads - a pure delight made with cocoa and Piedmont hazelnuts, guaranteed palm-oil free - and, of course, exceptional homemade chocolates, including traditional Turin gianduiotti in their golden wrappers (there's even a giant version for aficionados!) and dark chocolate bars with whole hazelnuts that are more than appetizing! The perfect place to stock up...

Franck Thollet, originally from Savoie, helps his father-in-law cultivate the land belonging to his wife's family. In his store, he'll give you a warm welcome and tell you all about the history of his plots. The Roncil family has been here for 8 generations. Their vines are very old. Production is 6,500 bottles a year from 2 hectares. The grape varieties are autochthonous, such as avana and becquet, with other Piedmontese varieties: barbera, dolcetto and neretta cunese. Fine vintages and two ice wines, harvested in winter.

Next to the restaurant-osteria del Castello, the boss opened a cellar, the Magnum kingdom, where you can taste the Italian wine of your choice. Wines of Alba and Monferrato, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba. The cellar has a terrace where you can enjoy an aperitif.

A pastry shop renowned for its excellent chocolate since 1915, it is one of the Piedmont capital's institutions. Try all the wonderful specialties of Turin's great chocolate-making tradition, especially the alpini, chocolates filled with liqueur, and, of course, the famous hazelnut giandujotti. All treats are made from cocoa beans roasted right here in the nearly 1,000^m2 laboratory. Everything is absolutely delicious, whatever you choose... A benchmark!

Renowned for its many melting chocolates and marrons glacés (a marvel, arguably the best in the city!) since 1836, this is where Cavour used to order for his receptions as a minister. The glorious patisserie now has a chic little counter where you can sip a good coffee or cappuccino in the morning. From April to November, if you take a seat on the lovely terrace overlooking the Piazza San Carlo, you'll be served a number of dishes as light as they are refined, ranging from club sandwiches to smoked salmon with salad.
