The menu of specialities is a place for authenticity and craftsmanship, the presentation is modern "author" style. Pasta, risottos, antipasti, and exquisite meat from a farm located in the hills of Cuneo, owned by the family of Giacomo, one of the three masters of the site. With Daniele and Gian Maria, Giacomo and his fine team will seduce you with their kindness and kindness. All accompanied by the best bottles of Piedmontese and Italian wines, secretly guarded in an exceptional cellar (more than 300 labels; bouteilles bottles and also glass tasting). Beware of keeping a little room, because homemade desserts are essential.

In the kitchen, a great chef and his pastry chef wife who, after several professional experiences throughout the world, have chosen to open an address all their own in the heart of Baveno. If the decoration does not surprise more than that, you can recognize in the plate the touch of a great cook (marinated salmon, entrecote steak with pierrade, pork tenderloin with small vegetables, spaghetti with clams and seaweed ...). You will be delighted and savour the quality of the products, the know-how of the owners and the service. A sure value that we recommend.

At the entrance to the square, under the arcades, this address was established in 1922. Da Michele is a timeless bistro with a large counter and wood-fired oven, where you'll be served pizza al tegamino, a small, crunchy pizza presented directly in its mould. The menu also features traditional Piedmontese dishes, with a nod to Liguria with farinata (chickpea pancakes), and to Tuscany with ribollita (bread and vegetables simmered in court-bouillon). A must in the heart of the city, this well-kept osteria offers traditional Monferrato cuisine, with interesting authentic recipes to sample. In the spotlight: homemade pasta, local classics such as knife-beaten raw beef tartare, famous boiled meats (excellent bagna cauda!) and, in season, truffles, of course, and their many culinary variations. Gourmet homemade desserts are not to be missed, and some fine local wines are available to accompany the dishes.

On a pretty square in the center of Asti, in the shadow of the San Martino church, this is an excellent osteria where local cuisine, tinged with flavors from neighboring Liguria, is here perhaps a little better than elsewhere. Among the dishes on the menu, tajarin with sausage sauce, fried anchovies, vitel tonné with tuna sauce and white bunet with Langhe hazelnuts are worth a detour, but everything is absolutely delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented and the wine list is extensive. Pleasant summer terrace.
