In the extreme southeast of the peninsula, in the "heel of the boot", the region of Puglia is a mecca for seaside tourism in Italy. With its 800 km of coastline, bordered by the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Ionian Sea to the south, punctuated by splendid beaches and coves, it seduces by its landscapes, by the mildness of its climate but also by the richness of its gastronomy. Focaccia, pasticciotti, panzerotti... Delights abound in this region! Its six provinces are all worth a visit. From the natural parks of Gargano and Alta Murgia to the beaches of Salento, the caves of Castellana and the marine reserve of the Tremiti Islands, there is no shortage of points of interest! We will also linger in the cities of unique charm such as Bari for its architectural heritage and its historic center, or Lecce, the "Florence of the south", a jewel of baroque architecture.
