The most famousasador of the city, where they have been grilling superb beef ribs since 1963, to be enjoyed with a good bottle of cider! A little far from the historical center, the restaurant occupies a modern room: the walls are entirely covered with light wood, wood in which were carved the broad tables occupying the vast room of service. The atmosphere is very friendly, with the asador welcoming both regulars and meat lovers passing through the city. An essential stop for carnivores!

Good value for money in this excellent restaurant that relies on seasonal products to elaborate creative dishes and delicious meats "a la brasa". A few specialties of the house, just to whet your appetite: millefeuilles of foie gras, apple and goat cheese; grilled octopus and potatoes confit with paprika; cod with sautéed asparagus... French toast with vanilla sauce or brownie with white chocolate fondant for dessert... The decor, sober and modern, offers a very pleasant setting in the heart of Pamplona's historic center. Superb address!

On the road from Zubiri to Larrasoaña, in a beautiful roadside caserío, here is a surprising address that will delight fine gourmets! On the ground floor, the place looks like a typical village bar, with its counter and wooden tables. It is upstairs, in the restaurant area, that chef David Yárnoz works wonders! Delicate and innovative cuisine, to be enjoyed in a rustic and authentic setting: this is obviously the best address in the area. Strong appetites will opt for one of the two tasting menus (12 or 14 courses).

In a pretty mountain house with flowered balconies, you will be able to enjoy simple and unpretentious cuisine. The Menú del día (menu of the day) offers a choice of three starters (salad, soup or small vegetables), three main courses (fried egg and chistorra, trout with ham or lomo de cerdo), as well as a drink, bread and a homemade dessert. Alternatively, it is always possible to opt for a plato combinado: meat or fish with egg, potatoes and vegetables. It's a great way to get your strength back without breaking the bank. Upstairs, you can rent nice apartments.

Run by Enrique Martínez, reference in local cuisine, this establishment is the main attraction of Cintruénigo, and an economic engine for this small town. Its cuisine, respectful of the ingredients is also full of inventiveness. Vast and renovated with industrial accents, this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the region. The hotel, more classic, setting on comfort and tranquillity of its guests.

A very authentic grocery-restaurant: the establishment is over one hundred years old, run by the third generation of the same family. The farm store is the perfect place to stock up (and pick up some gourmet souvenirs): natural sweets, traditional pastries - cream and chocolate cookies, mantecados, aniseed brioches, Basque apple pie, orange delights - honey and cheeses, as well as the famous migas, a village specialty. An excellent menu!

But with the modernization of the restaurant and a new direction, the mesón Julian has lost some of its soul. The portions are greedy, not to say generous: piquillo peppers, chipirons, thrushes with porcini mushrooms, grilled prime rib are some of the specialties of the house, while for dessert you can taste the local sheep's cheese and honey cuajadas. Very authentic! A highly recommended stopover to regain strength in a rustic and typically Basque setting.

For many years, the Josetxo restaurant has been a reference point in Pamplona. After closing in 2012, it reopened in 2015 under the name Errejota. Today the grandchildren of the founders run this restaurant of traditional cuisine. There are three menus to choose from: the "Erre" and "Jota" menus, which include a starter, main course and dessert, and the tasting menu, which is a very good and tasty way to get to know the culinary heritage of Pamplona and Navarre in general.

Rather than the large dining room, prefer its cosy little comedor, where you can see the cooks at work. A la carte, soups, fish (koxkera hake, monkfish or squid cooked in squid ink) and good meat stews (the veal cutlet and game in season deserve to be carefully considered).

The home-made cuisine is very tasty: the chef has a definite preference for stews, which are served with a bottle of cider.
