Today, after extended to other regions, publications also open to other genres: classical literature, youth books, kitchen books, comic books. De offers up to 200 new per year, and broadcasts six other publishers, including Purple Ink and the Blue leaf, to name but them.

Read moreFrancis Debaisieux, photographer emeritus, became passionate about the Massif Central now more than years ago. In 1982, it created a postcard publishing house which broadcasts the impressive number of photographs devoted to the region, all genres combined: landscapes, but also portraits, heritage. A few years later, the house launches in book publishing and today offers many regional books, including many guides, all illustrated with magnificent photos. Among the best known are the treasures of the Romanesque Auvergne and famous and unknown volcanoes of the Massif Central.

Read moreSpecialized for twenty-five years in the naturalist video reportage, taken by Christian Bouchardy assisted by Noël Gouilloux (cartoonist and decorator) and Yves Boulade (audiovisual technician). A former journalist, this faire naturalist ensures that the best way to preserve nature is to make it known. His humility and kindness only matched the discretion of his fetish animal, the mascot of the department. Catiche (whose name refers to the otter's home) has published fifty books (so many films), feeds local and national broadcasts, a weekly entry in Femina magazine and intervenes for scientific work. Catiche Productions has also won numerous awards for all its documentaries.

A small self-publishing structure, Loustik offers children some funny and funny stories, vivid color illustrated with characters with great eyes. The texts are signed by Aurélie Vaissier and Cathy Pelletier, illustrations, Tony Ronchon, and mine of nothing, at its regional level, Loustik has already conquered the difficult public of children. The catalogue has many titles, and is in three collections: Architecture and patterns, for models of monuments (generally all on the same scale to allow comparisons), Grand Angle (which proposes, among other things, inventions by Leonardo da Vinci) and Compas, encyclopaedic complement to deepen its knowledge. The Enduring Moment also broadcasts the books of the Paleo editions.

Read moreIf Chamina finds its roots in Auvergne, it is not focused on the Massif Central, and its collections of tourist guides cover a territory stretching from the biemont region to the Pyrenees. Chamina's main activity is walking guides, walking or cycling, sailing, sailing, or travelling, but there are also some beautiful books, and guides specifically focused on heritage discovery. One of them invites to a large crossing of the central mountain bike 666 km (from Clermont-Ferrand to Sète). Again, Puy-de-Dôme, an active planet, a collective book, in the Nature Activities collection, which has selected forty sites with fourteen outdoor activities for all seasons and levels. Finally, Le Petit Smart could not ignore the guide to patrimoine heritage: Wine and wine in Auvergne, which offers a wine address book and 40 mini-walk in the vineyards and wine-growing villages.

It's a very fine magazine, each time featuring great authors.
