First flights, school and pilots' club. The Aero Club team is there for everyone. Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

The Auvergne Aero Club Association was founded in 1920. It is affiliated to the FFA (French Aeronautical Federation) and the French ultralight Federation. It has six single-engine tourist aircraft: five aircraft including two four-seaters (for travel and discovery activities), and a microlight. The aero-club provides flying courses and training, aerial walks to live or to offer (prices on the site). You can also visit the base and exchange with the team for any question. To get to the aeroclub, from Lyon or Geneva on the A42 freeway, take exit 7, Meximieux, then the first road on the right after crossing a small bridge. If you're coming from Meximieux, follow the signs for the A42 Geneva/Lyon freeway, then take the path on the left just before you reach the freeway traffic circle. Once there, it's easy to spot the aeroclub building, the only one in the middle of the fields.
