Each year, Grenoble-Alpes-metropolis organises two completely free public excursions. This is one of the two hikes that will take place on 1 October 2017. During this edition you will discover the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park, its pleasant trails and its flora. Between friends or families, a fresh air is guaranteed!

In the heart of the Ardèche region, this Bee's station, like the one further north in Tournon-sur-Rhône, offers electrically-assisted bicycles for hire for cycling along the Rhône river and other soft paths. Repair, replace, recycle: that's the credo of this France-wide structure dedicated to cycling and cycle tourism. Each station is dedicated to welcoming you, advising and guiding you in your purchases, rentals and bike maintenance.

Close to the majestic Grand Mont, the Lacs de la Tempête offer an unforgettable experience where the splendour of the lakes rewards every step. The excursion lasts approximately 4 hours. Departure is from the Saint-Guérin dam, perched at an altitude of almost 1,600 metres. At the start, the waymarked path rises towards the Col de la Louze, culminating at over 2,100 meters, then your route continues to the right. You'll need to cross a scree slope, guided by cairns. At the pass, the first lake is revealed, offering a breathtaking panorama.

Located in Montplaisir, the Yves Nayme water sports center has 3 large pools: a deep sports pool, a play and learning area and a 50^m2 area dedicated to children. Open to all, the water sports center provides facilities for disabled people with the loan of carts and a secure device for installation in the water. The water sports center is quite modern: massaging jets, aquatic river with counter-current, waterfall...

In the forest of Pinatelle, Sébastien Rouchy has created the Equi-nature village for one-day riders as well as for the more experienced. The chalets offer different levels of comfort with a hot tub and spa. Stalls are nearby. The center offers day or multi-day tours to explore the Parc régional des volcans or, further afield, the Cévennes or the Lot. In the summer, small pony rides will delight the children.

On the program, hiking and art of living. This structure offers to lovers of wide open spaces moments of escape and peace. Florence Chalandon, mountain guide, will guide you in the forest of Saou, her base camp, but also on other sites in the Drôme and elsewhere. In her catalog, she offers walking yoga, a nomadic yoga created in 2011 with a therapeutic objective, which also consists of a simple active walk, instructive, lively, playful and conscious. A yogic walk that would boost our immunity.

Departing from Boucieu-le-Roi station, enjoy the great outdoors! Along the valley of the Doux, enjoy a 360° panorama on board carts driven by a set of pedals. Several descents are available: the Chestnut tree descent with the crossing of beautiful viaducts, the Narrows descent in the heart of the Doux gorges and the Grande Aventure, the most sportive. At 300 m from the station, don't forget to discover Boucieu-le-Roi, a town classified as a Village de Caractère.

Need to cool down? Want to relax and have fun with your family? Installed on the Colombier lake in Anse, the Aquapark Beluga is also served by the Chemin de Fer Touristique d'Anse. Set on the water, an incredible aquatic playground of 900^m2. Slides, catapults, floating bridges to cross without falling in the water... Estelle Juge's workshop-boutique welcomes you to the countryside, where you can take courses in painting on wood and other materials (canvas, metal, glass, mosaics...) with a true artist. At the boutique, open by appointment or during class hours, you'll discover a world of painted and unfinished woodwork. While Estelle creates superb stylized and animalistic "regionalist" paintings, her inspiration extends to other horizons, notably Asian. Art therapy sessions to express emotions. Founded in 1944, the Issoire - Le Broc aerodrome invites you to a baptism (discovery flight) to appreciate the sensations of a flight in a two-seater glider. At an altitude of 900 meters, enjoy 20 to 60 minutes in the air depending on the weather. It is also possible to opt for a 20-minute flight in a small plane (up to 3 passengers), always accompanied of course by an experienced pilot! Nothing like it to appreciate the beauty and richness of the Issoire region. You can also ask to fly towards the Sancy or the puy de Dôme.

The Raquettes snowshoes is a day dedicated to raquette and good humour. Each year 500 and 700 participants participate in this mass hike in snowshoes from La Bourboule. Two courses are proposed. A hot tub and hot meal are offered to the participants. Don't miss this rendez-vous in Auvergne!

Among other things, you'll pass through the château's gardens. The clues in the roadmap will lead you to the gardens. At the end, you'll normally arrive at the geocache! This activity is also available for groups all year round, by prior arrangement.

Every year, in partnership with the Fête du Livre de Saint-Etienne, the OMSS42 invites cycling enthusiasts, including the authors of the literary event, to come and take a 20 km bike ride on the slopes of Pilat. The Montée cycliste des Soleils d'automne is a family sporting event accessible to children aged 12 and over. Refuelling stops are planned. Activities are organized. Come and try your hand at this safe route, which will allow you to discover the wonderful landscapes of Pilat, which are always an enchantment!

This is the 7th edition of the City Run, to the great pleasure of those who love this form of running. The routes are very diverse, taking in as many pedestrian streets as possible and avoiding the roads as much as possible. Two circuits of 6 and 12 km are planned with a timing by disposable chip and numerous refreshment points. There is also a children's course with a start time of 5pm. The Corrida, as its name does not indicate since there is a tendency to believe in a bullfighting event, is a night run organized for the past two years at the end of November in Puy-en-Velay. Several features distinguish this race from the others. The first, it is open and accessible to all because its course is less than 8 kilometres long and crosses the city of Le Puy on a flat track. Children can choose between a 1 or 2.5 km course. The second is that everyone is invited to dress up. The third, runners will be able to discover a surprisingly bright atmosphere throughout the course. The fourth, a DJ will be present throughout the event. So, are you convinced? A beautiful panoramic walk! The program includes a 360° view from Lac du Bourget to Mont-Blanc, in the midst of alpine meadows, on undulating terrain with little difference in altitude. Meet at Courant d'Ère, then climb up to the plateau following the "3 lacs" signs. Allow 1h30 to 2h for the walk. Enjoy a picnic or lunch at the excellent Refuge du Semnoz (opening hours vary). And the good news is that the trail is groomed in winter, making it accessible without snowshoes.

To feel like a musher, adults and children are welcome to visit Ludovic Gloanec, a qualified musher and founder of Traîneaux de l'Ubac. These mountain, nature and animal enthusiasts manage a pack of magnificent Siberian huskies. At the Praz de Lys - Sommand ski resort or on the Agy plateau, you can learn to drive a dog sled, prepare a team and, in two days, hike, dine around campfires and bivouac. In summer, you can try your hand at cani-VTT and cani-kart (or husky buggy), which replace the sled.

Come and test your balance on a slackline or a ladder, or practice your salto, thanks to two foam-filled pits to cushion falls. There's an arena with 24 trampolines for free jumping, a Dodge Ball with 20 trampolines to form a dodgeball court, and Tumbling for a series of somersaults... The green track takes over 15 kilometres of an old railway line from Bassignac to Cheyssac, passing through Ydes. The difference in altitude is very slight and the approaches are safe. Explanatory panels help you to understand the history of the place you are crossing and fitness areas punctuate the route to keep you stretching. It will delight sports enthusiasts and families.

The association Sou des écoles and the USEP organize every year a nice walk or mountain bike ride to discover the beautiful green area of Chimilin! The all-terrain electric scooter, without saddle or pedals, but with brakes and gas pedal, is a fun way to get around. After a quick introduction, you'll set off in a guided group along the Ardèche, between vineyards and beaches, for a "calm ride". You can stop off at a viewpoint, watch the canoes go by, observe birds of prey nesting in a cliff, cross an ancient Roman watchtower or follow the calades of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. Located at an altitude of 900 meters, the Observatoire de la Lèbe is a scientific and exploration space open to all. In addition to its telescope for observing the planets and stars, the site has a planetarium under a dome that offers daily broadcasting of an immersive documentary film followed by the intervention of a scientific mediator (session of 1 hour to 1h30 - different films depending on the day of the week). Night observations with a guide are also offered to learn how to spot the different constellations.

When dynamism and efficiency rhyme with astronomy, the result is the Village des Etoiles, an intelligent fusion of various activities related to astronomy. The activities in question cover a wide range of audiences, schools, companies and individuals through specific animations, organized trips, observation evenings, planetarium sessions, etc. Between the planetarium, the celestial theatre (open-air planetarium), the 600 mm telescope and the solar observatory, you will discover the sky from every angle. The game is similar to golf, but instead of propelling a ball with a club to make successive shots, you have to throw a disc with your arm, aiming one after the other at the 18 baskets lining the park. This requires concentration and dexterity, while checking that the path is clear before throwing so that there is no risk of hitting a passerby. The goal is to complete the course in a minimum number of throws. Accessible to all without particular physical aptitude. Initiations allow to master the technique.

Every year, at the height of summer, a highly successful astronomy festival lights up Savoie. Activities revolve around the Salle de l'Europe, the conference venue, and the soccer stadium, which becomes the sky observation point.
