Arthur and Charlotte want to share their love of the South: they recently opened a beautiful bistro next to the Cours Mirabeau, with a welcoming and generous bar featuring the colors of Provence. In the evening, it's aperitif time in a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Aperitif platter, croque-monsieur or veggie platter. The wine list is extensive, and there's a wide choice of cocktails: from Mamette, a start-up from Aix-en-Provence that you'll find in the guide, to Jardin d'été (gin, cider, orange blossom and lemon) and Melon Martini (vodka and melon juice), everything is fresh and often homemade. Ranked first in the 2019 French Coffee Championship, Mana has moved but the coffee is still excellent. As the seasons go by, Alex and Benjamin select great vintages that they roast themselves. The freshness of the coffee bean adds great subtlety to the taste. In a warm student HQ setting, a gourmet menu of vegan and vegetarian specialties, teas and freshly extracted fruit juices is on offer. On Sundays, the sweet and savoury brunch is a big hit. Also a caterer and food-truck that can be privatized for events. You'll also find their golden-yellow bags in the city's best addresses

Located in the pedestrian intramuros, this place makes you want to go inside, first with its terrace, then inside with its animal decoration. Yes, all the armchairs are leopard! Finally an address in Avignon where you can enjoy a delicious bubble tea. With different flavors, with or without milk, it is a little known Asian drink here in France. You will be pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the tapioca beads at the bottom of your glass. This coffee-shop is also appreciated for its gourmet range of hot chocolates and cappuccinos.

Its beautiful terrace spreads out over both the rue d'Italie and the Place Forbin at the top of the Cours Mirabeau. The animation is there. You can have a drink with friends but also have a bite to eat with a choice of beef tartare, Italian burger, homemade beef lasagne and copious meal salads. The chef has recently changed. All day long, the gourmet break with fruit pie, cottage cheese, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit platter, ice cream and sorbets. Recently, a pizza area with a real bread oven, to eat on the go or to take away... a little piece of Italy on the street of the same name, in short an ideal location in the heart of Aix-en-Provence!

Maison Weibel, on the corner of rue Chabrier, is part patisserie, part tearoom, an Aix institution since 1954. Take a gourmet break in one of Aix's finest pastry shops! Weibel is known for its exquisite choux pastries, amandines, gâteau à la brousse, mille-feuilles and Castel praliné, one of the house's great classics... For breakfast, tea or Sunday brunch, if there's room, sit inside or on the small terrace in the lively pedestrian street along the two facades. At lunchtime, small dishes, croque-monsieur and salads.

For a drink at any time of day, on the terrace, in the shady square or inside at the bar, the Brasserie des Arts is a fun, festive place to be! With acoustic concerts, blues, jazz and rock'n'roll live music on Thursday and Saturday, and a DJ on Friday. Tapas are served with the aperitif, but if you're feeling hungry, the chef is in the kitchen preparing delicious dishes (you'll find them in our "je me régale" restaurant section). The atmosphere is relaxed, the clientele is of all ages, it's warm and friendly, in the spirit of a neighborhood bar. It's not far from the city center - just walk up Rue Portalis to the top!

Café Bleu looks like a village bistro and it's nice to find it around some of the maps. There are plenty of opportunities for dining there: one evening a month, it's karaoke, concerts, lotto, bowls contests that are alternating with musical animations in summer and games are broadcast live on a large screen. On the terraces, on the street side, on the other side of the garden, you enjoy taking the cost. For dining, small dishes and barbecue. Known to Aix gourmets for its restaurant, this new address (formerly the Agnès B boutique) is less well known for its tea room. Sofas, deep armchairs and low tables invite you to relax. The Mariage tea list will delight Five o'clock purists, as will the infusions... The pastries of the day are presented on the sideboard; other sweets are on offer, such as calissons, cookies, marrons glacés, cornes de gazelle... you can extend your visit with an aperitif before dinner... and take a look at the boutique opposite, stocked with the finest French brands.

Hardly a year goes by without the Belle-de-Mai district, around La Friche, seeing the arrival of an exciting new address! To be perfectly accurate, we're not actually in La Belle-de-Mai, but a stone's throw away, and at Les Pieds tanqués, a stone's throw counts. Here, in a place that's all about conviviality and meeting new people, lots of young people come for a drink, a bite to eat and a game of cochonnet. Because yes, Pétanque does indeed come from "tanned feet", and its name did indeed derive from this expression when it was created in La Ciotat. We love the healthy spirit of this new place for sharing, the idea that Provencal heritage can be combined with our modern lifestyles.

This Escape Game is located in an indoor leisure complex in the hills above Antibes. If you're not familiar with the concept, it's all about solving puzzles as a team, locked in a room from which you have to escape in record time. With its 1,200^m2, Planet Experiences is the biggest Escape Game in the Alpes-Maritimes, but it also offers other activities such as car simulation (F1 or rally) and a board game bar. A unique place to combine fun and reflection on bad weather days.

A few weeks of work and a new skin for this café, which is now a must in the Opera district. The dynamic Dvozig is still at the helm with his unstoppable concept of tea and infusions bar. A cosy place with a beautiful terrace where you can lounge in the sun while enjoying the liveliness of the Place de l'Opéra. To eat now, Dvozig has revisited things with a tribute to its origins: small home-cooked Armenian dishes and snacks, at low prices. But Infusion is also and above all a place to discover the world of tea. About forty references and some of them change according to the seasons. We still like it, bravo to Dvozig who reinvents himself.

It is easy to understand when you enter L'Echoppe that it is a place dedicated to beer. The wall of bottled beers that you meet when you arrive is a tangible proof; hop lovers, you will find your happiness here! The bartenders really know their stuff, offering over five beers, most of which are local and craft, on draft, as well as hundreds in bottles. If you don't like it, don't panic! Also on the menu are wines, softs, and particularly tasty arranged rums. A great festive address.

If the name refers directly to La ^36ème chambre de Shaolin, it's all about sweetness and voluptuousness. Cédric and Nouaja are both passionate about Japanese and Korean culture, and decided to import a few flavors from Asia. From breakfast to lunch and afternoon tea, the place is friendly and Nouaja is particularly welcoming. We love the Shaolin Brunch or their delicious bibimbap, not forgetting the fluffy Korean pancakes. For those in a hurry, onigris and "Sando" are available to take away.

Created by Sam Harkand & Cie in 2000, this theater is happily developing its specificity: expressionist theater. Inspired by commedia del arte, burlesque and cabaret, this technique opens up new possibilities for the actor. Masks, clowns, jesters and puppets take to the stage in direct dialogue with the audience. The actors, with their singular acting style, create a colorful universe of expressive bodies, costumes and music. A place of residence and creation for companies, it is also a training ground for rediscovering these rare techniques.

A few chairs and high tables, a pretty bar, a slate of delicious homemade tapas (burrata, tartines, mixed or vegetarian platters) that change weekly: all the elements of a good evening are gathered in this little bar in the center of old Antibes. Atmosphere halfway between punk and queer, open your eyes and ears wide. As a bonus, 4 soundproof boxes can be privatized to sing at the top of your lungs with friends or for the shyest ones.

The atmosphere, the decor, and the live bands that play every Friday night make this English pub a must in the village of Châteauneuf! The menu features a wide choice of beers, delicious cocktails and generous sharing boards, not forgetting the burgers... In short, the perfect place to enjoy a good time with friends. In a small crossroads in Vieux-Nice, Berco sets the tone with its sign at the entrance: "Because no good story begins with a glass of orange juice". Here, over 150 wine references have been meticulously selected from France and Italy to delight customers, with the possibility of buying fine bottles directly. The menu is equally varied, with tapas made from fresh, local produce, including Bouyon goat's cheese and Corsican charcuterie.

Camille has taken pastry to a whole new level with a 100% plant-based and 100% gluten-free offering. No milk, no eggs and no animal products are served here. The challenge is met thanks to a perfect balance of flavors, but also thanks to visuals that make your mouth water as soon as you walk through the door. Just a few meters from Place Rossetti, Splash features an uncluttered menu of Niçoise specialties: pissaladière, Niçois ravioli, panisses and sharing boards of charcuterie and cheese. Julien, owner of La Treille, promotes an ecological approach by offering wine by the taffy, as well as orange wine and sparkling wine. You'll also find a fine selection of locally brewed, artisanal beers. Enjoy the view of the Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate and the Colline du Château.

The atmosphere at Txupito is always young and relaxed. A Basque bar where you can have a drink with friends, grab a bite to eat, play a game of pool and, above all, have fun. The hippodrome of Cavaillon is a small country hippodrome with a friendly atmosphere. The trotting track is 1,200 metres long. It is a pleasant place where you can of course follow the horse races and indulge your passion or discover it, beware you are quickly caught up in the game! but also you come to relax with friends, have a drink or a bite to eat and admire the horses! Numerous events are regularly organized there.

Discover Zapata and its caliente Latina atmosphere in season! This beautifully decorated dance bar is located in Juan's main square, close to all the nightlife. In season, it's sure to be packed when you spend your evenings there. Located in the heart of the city, this 100% gay club is a real institution and, let's face it, one of the few places where you can have fun every day of the week until the wee hours. The trans parties are pretty huge 100% crazy. Music-wise, it's a mix of clichés and a bit more cutting edge. But on the whole, it hums and it is also for that that we like this discotheque. There are sometimes some DJs in guest star and theme nights, that boosts the atmosphere. And there, the outfits can be quite crazy!

Gérard Gélas established this theater in 1971 in the Sainte Catherine chapel. It is one of the pillars of the performing arts in Avignon, presenting both the creations of the master of the place, and hosting the biggest names of the French scene.
