At La Rochelle airport, domestic routes provide connections to major French cities.

This year, the La Rochelle-Cork route has reopened, and the Marseille route has been strengthened. Regular flights to London (Stansted) are operated by Ryanair. Seasonal flights are also available until the end of October: from March to Barcelona and from June to Edinburgh. Some twenty direct destinations to major European cities and capitals are served by European airlines. There are 6 parking lots, an urban transport bus station for connections to Biarritz, Bayonne, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, etc., a business center with room rental and 2 shopping areas.

In the heart of the Plateau de Millevaches, in Haute Corrèze, stands Peyrelevade, the Pierre Levée. It is in a natural setting, between hills and peat bogs, that René Dambon, a passionate aviator, has created an airfield. Since 1987, the animators of the association Les Ailes Peyrelevadoises have had the mission of keeping this exceptional site alive in memory of its creator.
