And although it's a chain, they take great care to ensure the provenance and quality of the products they use. In Caernarfon, you'll find The Anglesey Arms on the seafront promenade beside the castle. This large pub attracts the town's young people. Opened at the end of 2016, this cocktail bar is simply stunning! Tasting begins with the eyes: bold, original and spectacular, its decor is already worth the detour. Once you're seated, you can choose your drink from a selection of carefully-crafted cocktails, freshly prepared from natural ingredients. One of Cardiff's trendiest spots! You can nibble on a few snacks, usually plates to share. And from time to time, they even organize Martini brunches from Friday to Sunday (12:30, 14:30, 16:30).

A handsome, wood-panelled pub dating back to the 1880s, once shared by dockers, miners and prostitutes. Close to the Millennium Stadium (or Principality Stadium), it has always been a popular meeting place for rugby fans. The City Arms is the place to be from pre-match until the third half! No cooking here... Just plenty of beer! The staff are friendly and smiling, and you're in for a great night out, especially if there's rugby on.

Eating times are slightly different: Monday to Saturday, from 12pm to 9pm, and on Sundays from 12pm to 6pm. The atmosphere is white-hot on match nights, with broadcasts on six large screens. We recommend the place with our eyes closed, as the value for money is very good.

CellB is a hotel, cinema and bar located in the former police headquarters. It serves good food for lunch, with a good selection of beers. In the evenings in particular, numerous events are regularly organized with a good, varied musical program. The rooms are simple but modern and efficient. It has a youth hostel feel, but we recommend it, it's very good. You also have access to a kitchen, if you want to cook a little. In the cinema, you can enjoy new releases or old English or Welsh classics.

It's " the pub on the platform ", a little out of the way, with a good selection of beers and a pleasant atmosphere. Often mentioned by locals as their favorite pub. The place is very simple but friendly, and it works! There are a few games on offer: arcade machines, billiards and darts. There's also a nice flat-screen TV, so you won't miss a rugby match! Ideal with friends or family for a break during a walk, to take shelter in case of rain, or simply to watch the trains go by!

Interior full of character, with decor worthy of harbor pubs. One of Barmouth's most famous establishments, considered the "soul" of the community, always packed with local youngsters. In a vast century-old building, a comfortable bar has been set up, whose jukebox contains a selection of irreproachable oldies and indian music ranging from Rolling Stones to Arctic Monkeys! We play billiards and darts here, a game which, if it is not rare to find it in France, is not rare here! An excellent wine list too. And to top it all off, the bar opens its doors every day until late! Note: the establishment also makes a chic hotel and offers some pretty rooms.

In 1575, this adorable little house was built and is today the site of a very "British" pub, lace and porcelain, afternoon tea with scones and marmalade. If a "lapsang souchong", a Kenyan or Costa Rican coffee or an "old java" tempt you at 5pm, the tea room will be able to meet all your requirements. As far as meals are concerned, we are not disappointed: smoked haddock, Thai chicken, roasted butternut... The choice is vast and seasonal. For dessert, you can try the crème brûlée or the triple chocolate brownie...

A very traditional tea room with carpet, lace and good pastries. You come at any time of the day to sit down and enjoy a good hot drink and a little sweetness for a while. There is also salty food for lunch and the traditional afternoon tea at snack time. While the decor may seem a bit kitsch for some, it exudes a crazy charm and the staff is extremely considerate and kind. We recommend the place without hesitation.

Not easy to find, but the pub is worth looking for. It takes its name from its former owner, a Pole who served in his country's air force as an officer. The atmosphere of the pub is very pleasant and you will be well received, with the added bonus of very good Real Ales beers and recommended cuisine since the arrival of a new cook. Everything is absolutely divine, with vegetarian and gluten-free choices. Choice in the menu for toddlers. And as a token of quality, rumour has it that this is Prince William's favourite pub!

Fountains Cafe Bar is the most popular and trendy place in town to go out at night. It has a well-kept interior decoration and a cosy setting for the day. You can also come here to have a bite to eat for lunch, or in the early evening for example. The terrace is also very pleasant to sit on during the day or to drink a beer in the evening, standing, while discussing with the locals and the young people present. In the evenings, they organize many theme evenings where people come to party and dance.

The inn is slightly below road level. You're immediately struck by the age of the building, formerly a ^16th-century coaching inn. Poor lighting, woodwork bent by time, low door... What character! Typical unpretentious pub fare: fish and chips, burgers, curries... We come here alone, with family or friends, to have a drink, have fun, and enjoy some typical pub games such as darts... The atmosphere is friendly and the staff welcoming.

Hay-on-Wye's oldest house, after the castle, housed a very popular bar, but was the victim of a fire in 2005. Now fully restored, the bar has been modernised while remaining true to its spirit: rustic dark wooden furniture, exposed beams, a fireplace and a spacious restaurant create a pleasant and warm atmosphere. A beer garden is reserved for smokers. The establishment is also known for its Italian gastronomic restaurant (with vegan and vegetarian choices). Good value for money.

The New Three Mariners is a great pub where it's nice to have a drink by the fire. And on weekends, the atmosphere is guaranteed! Many concerts are organized with very nice young local artists, as well as quizzes, karaoke... As well as the traditional match nights to support Welsh rugby teams! Their Facebook page is full of information about past and upcoming events. All this, always in a great atmosphere! Guess who the proud owner is? The English actor Neil Morrissey!

In a house with a yellow front, a pub with a friendly and original atmosphere and decoration, which specialises in Thai cuisine with a wide choice of curries and different dishes made with chicken, shrimps or pork. Traditional menu also available with burgers, beef and spinach lasagna, chicken risotto or vegetarian version with mushrooms... We also have chef's choices with salmon fillet and other variants served with fresh vegetables. The young and lively climate, very nice. It's a pretty good place to eat.
