Hilary and Clive Davies run a charming B&B in a typical Edwardian house just a few steps from the seafront. With its well-kept, comfortable and beautifully appointed rooms, its grand period staircase covered in thick carpeting and the incomparable welcome reserved for guests, it feels like a cocoon. Breakfast, ticked off on a list that you slip in at reception before going to bed, can be taken under a small glass roof on decorated wrought-iron tables. Every attention is paid to guest satisfaction.

Isallt Guest House is set in the heart of a Victorian stone and grey slate house in the city centre which dates back to 1870. The price is reasonable for these cute little rooms. A choice of six rooms: a family room, a king-size, two doubles, a double with twin beds and a single. All have their own bathroom (shower) and are equipped with television. In the living room you can enjoy the books provided or the games. If required, parking is available on site as well as bicycle parking

Recently renovated, the rooms call for a restful sleep after a day's walk. Beware, however, they may have a very strict policy towards smokers: those who smell like tobacco do not come in! (Cigarettes and electronic cigarettes are not allowed on site.) A minimum number of nights (usually two) can be requested, especially in winter and out of season. Remember to contact the owners before your arrival to get all the information. Summer Hill has a self check-in system.

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Llanberis, Gallt Y Glyn Hotel welcomes you in a warm and relaxed atmosphere at the foot of the trails for Mount Snowdon. The house organizes hikes and climbing excursions. Whether you come alone, with your family or in a group, you have a choice. The establishment can accommodate a total of 24 people. In the mornings, you can enjoy a very good and hearty classic breakfast, and you can also eat in the restaurant, which is open from Wednesday to Saturday.

Erw Fair Guest House is a charming ^19th-century stone and grey slate house, typical of the region, converted into a Bed & Breakfast since the 1930s, by the Mellor family. Since 2017, Jane and Trevor have purchased the property and undertaken a number of renovations. This downtown guest house offers every comfort. The rooms are clean and fully equipped. If you're missing anything, don't hesitate to ask Jane and Trevor - they're so friendly and welcoming! Evening meals are available.

Sygun Fawr Country House is a country manor house built in 1644, and now very comfortable and welcoming. Communal areas include a large dining room with wooden tables. The rooms are colorful, with imposing beams... Dinners offered to guests and non-residents are tasty and elaborate. While there's plenty of Welsh gastronomy on offer, they also specialize in Thai cuisine. It smells good and it's excellent! The restaurant isn't called Honey & Spice for nothing!

Owners Mark and Annette know the history of the village and surrounding area inside out. Don't hesitate to ask them! The little bar overlooks the river. As for the hotel, the rooms are very pretty and comfortable. They are well-equipped and en-suite, i.e. they have their own bathroom. On site, you can enjoy the terrace, the lounge and its fireplace. On waking, we are served a delicious Welsh breakfast with fruit juice, coffee or tea, toast and jam, eggs...

Nestled in Snowdonia's Cwm Pennant Valley, this is a pretty farmhouse with pleasant rooms, wooden furniture and flowery bedding. Comfort, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We particularly appreciate the large garden, and the bench to sit in the shade of a tree. In the winter, we opt instead to warm up around the fireplace in the pleasant living room. And if you want more independence, you can rent a cottage that can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children.

House nestled in a rural setting, ideal for nature lovers. The seven rooms on offer are spacious, clean and comfortable, double or single. Some are "flexi" and can accommodate up to four people if required (if child under 12 years old, £15 extra with breakfast included). Deborah gives a warm welcome to her guests and prepares a good typical Welsh breakfast with bread, jam, scrambled eggs...

This old Victorian building with its pink facade offers a warm welcome and a good breakfast (vegetarian option, gluten-free option on prior request). The rooms are decorated in a "British" style, and some of them, under the roofs, boast pretty, glossy wooden beams. All rooms are well-equipped. A B&B rated 3 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board, but which could go for a fourth. For sunny days, Maenllwyd Guest House has a pleasant garden.

In this superb 18th century stone house; Horseshoe Guest House is a small hotel with beams and wood fire for a traditional atmosphere. The restaurant is pleasant with a homemade cuisine. Seven single and double rooms are available. The decoration can look quite old-fashioned, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The garden is very pleasant. In the living room, games for children (and adults) are available. Pets are accepted at no extra charge. Parking, bicycle garage.

Built in 1855, the Tides Reach is now decorated with many Victorian antiquities. The most chic rooms have a canopy bed. Of the six rooms available, we have a family room, standard or superior rooms, a newly renovated and more modern room, but above all two rooms with a sea view! The Welsh breakfast is hearty with a choice of vegetarian sausages. Cen and Ali, the owners, have an easy smile and are incredibly kind.

Just a few meters from the beach, Glenthorne Guest House is a charming little house, full of flowers and colors, renowned for its excellent quality. Menna and Peter, the owners, are very welcoming and strive to satisfy their customers. At breakfast, for example, there's a wide choice of products, as well as vegan and gluten-free options. The few single, double and family rooms are well-equipped, clean and comfortable. On-site parking is available for guests with vehicles.

This stone house dating from the middle of the 19th century is very pleasant, you feel at home. Everything is there: very comfortable rooms, a warm welcome, small tables in the garden to enjoy the sunny weather... The owners who do their utmost to adopt ethical and responsible behaviour, David and Amélia, chosen as "ambassadors" of the National Park by the tourist office, are happy to guide their hosts and advise the best addresses and excursions in the area. The most: David teaches Welsh with passion.

In March 2018, change of ownership for this 18th century house with a very flowery interior. From now on, Neal and Francesca will welcome you in this place. Installed on three floors, the rooms are pleasant and comfortable. Even if some of them are a little outdated. Some have their own bathroom, others have one to share, on the landing. The large family room has kept a nice fireplace. Good welcome from the owners, who will be happy to advise you.

You will recognize this guest house full of personality by the firecracker blue colour of its doors. The atmosphere here is very warm: beams on the walls and ceilings, wooden furniture, large cosy beds full of cushions... The dining room is nice, with its small tables and pink walls. In the living room, you can curl up in large leather sofas by the fire. As for the rooms, they are sublime, especially the River Room with its very large bathroom! You'll feel almost at home here, so much so that the atmosphere encourages you to make yourself at home!

This beautiful Victorian home is carefully managed by Paul and Sarah Gill, just outside of Langland Bay. The four rooms have been refurbished, with particular attention to the colours and atmosphere. The warm tones are relaxing and pleasant and all the necessary equipment is available in the rooms. When you wake up, you can enjoy a pleasant traditional or more continental breakfast. We have the possibility to have a picnic to take away on request. Paul and Sarah are taking good care of us and advise us on how to discover the area.

In the heart of a beautiful Welsh countryside and a few minutes from the beach, a well-kept secret is worth a stay in Anglesey. The Outbuildings is a prestigious guest house; old farm that has required several years of work, for an elegant, ouaté and resting result. The size of the place, both inside and figuratively, does not stop the spirit of conviviality. Quite the opposite! The restaurant is highly recommended, the gastronomic and inspired gastronomic cuisine.
