The parade in Downtown Summerlin or the entertainment in Forest Village (HallOVeen) are really worth a visit. And for the occasion, the Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum, located in Downtown, is a must-see to start the Halloween celebrations in Las Vegas. Beware, sensitive souls abstain.

The festival, which originated in France, is now much more important in the United States (in New Orleans) and Brazil (in Rio de Janeiro), where carnivals are huge costume parties that last several days. The two casinos, the Orleans and the Rio, which have taken these cities as their theme, organize large carnival festivities for the occasion with themed parties and large parades. Many Cajun and Creole restaurants in the city also offer other festivities.

Many casinos also take part in this annual celebration by offering themes on China.

Parade

Organized by the Southern Nevada Association of Pride, this is the largest annual gay gathering in Las Vegas. The parade route begins in the Downtown district in the late afternoon (around 6 p.m.). Participants make their way up4th Street, converging a few blocks south on the Fremont Street Experience. This annual event brings together not only the gay community, but also many businesses that support the LGBTQ cause. Las Vegas also hosts many other events throughout the year.

LAS VEGAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

Historical light and sound show

Armor and lace dresses are the costumes worn for this annual festival held in Sunset Park, not far from Harry Reid International Airport. Over the course of a weekend, visitors move between craft, food and drink stalls, not forgetting knight tournaments and sword fights. The festival also welcomes artists to perform music, dance, magic and storytelling.
