The 2022/2023 season brought change to the ONPL, as it welcomed Sascha Goetzel as Music Director for the next 4 seasons. In 2023, he embarks on his second year with an attractive program and a new Europe Music Edition. A season of 32 programs. The ONPL choir will be in the spotlight, performing requiems by Mozart and Verdi. The choir will also be on hand for Heritage Days. There's also the opening concert with Franco-Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulovic, the Romantics with pianist Marie-Ange Nguci, Mozart's Requiem revisited by Pierre-Henri Dutron... and so much more to discover! Not forgetting film-concerts and family concerts(La cuisine de la cheffe, Le Tour du Monde en 80 jours, etc.). During the lunch break, you can also take advantage of our fantastic Pauses-concert series, featuring 45 minutes of music performed by a small group of musicians. Everyone will be able to vibrate to the sound of the music told by this talented orchestra, whose main mission is to create emotions. The promise of great moments in the company of the ONPL!

Built in the 18th century by architect Mathurin de Crucy, it is a landmark in the city's landscape. The sumptuous Théâtre Graslin is home to the Angers Nantes Opéra, a program of opera, dance and concerts. The 2023-2024 season will feature the opera Béatrice et Bénédict (Hector Berlioz), Le Retour d'Ulysse dans sa patrie (Claudio Monteverdi), concerts by the Conservatoire "Romantisme... à la française", Cosa Rara and the family show Si tous les gars du monde. At Christmas, we'll be enchanted by the choiroratorio concert. For the sweet voices of the world, Les Mélismes des Steppes takes us on a journey to Mongolia, and the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino to Puglia in Italy. Great shows to discover!

Like every year, between July and August, during thirteen wonderful evenings, you will be able to enjoy four well put together operas at the Baugé Opera Festival. Young promising singers, professional conductors and choirs participate. In a staging conceived for the festival, you will vibrate with Verdi's Un ballo in maschera, Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana, Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortilèges or Smetana's La Fiancée vendue. All this in a bucolic setting where talent and charm are perfectly matched, not to be missed!

LA SOUFFLERIE - L'AUDITORIUM

Pop rock and variety concert hall

Made of concrete, wrapped in mahogany wood, it has the shape of a violin's resonance box. Designed by Rudy Ricciotti, the Auditorium has natural acoustic qualities. It welcomes nearly 300 people for concerts, world music, theater or dance. It is managed by the Soufflerie, which has 3 venues: the Auditorium, the Barakason, and the municipal theater. MUSIQUE SACREE NANTES

Fancy listening to Sacred Music in Nantes? Every year, this Nantes-based musical association offers us a real "season". The Sacred Music concert season runs from September to June and features the choirs of Nantes Cathedral. With the regular participation of organists and specialized professional musical ensembles. Children and adults from the cathedral choirs take part in concerts aimed at all audiences. The repertoires covered span the entire history of music, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Concerts take place at Nantes Cathedral and the Chapelle de l'Immaculée, among other venues!
