From his journey in the middle of the show, Cyril offers a unique concept on the vendéenne coast with his restaurant-cabaret L'Intermission, created in 2012. A film lover, he decorated his restaurant on the theme of cinema in the s/s: red carpets, projectors, black and white photos of American actors, large red curtains to dress the glass walls of the building to the design of cubes that illuminate in the evening, and at the bottom of the room, a small scene that welcomes the artists. So every 15 days, dinners are organized around cabaret numbers with french, for example, magic, tap, Gypsy jazz, New Orleans, or some of the one show of comics. Excellent news: the Cité du Music-Hall has landed in Nantes and taken off in the Sémaphore hall on the Ile de Nantes. This 282-seat venue has been completely renovated, with comfortable blue seats and beautiful effects to enhance the shows. Rare in France, this human-scale venue is entirely devoted to music hall. We love the closeness between the audience and the performers, and have a really good time. Actors, dancers, singers and sometimes acrobats, we're delighted to discover the Revue de la Cloche and the diverse programming of the Cité du Music-Hall. New in Nantes for the pleasure of our zygomatic! The Smile Comedy Club puts a smile on our faces! This new venue, where humor is king, is located on rue Jean-Jaurès in Nantes. Once past the downstairs bar, we head for the mezzanine, which hosts the very best in stand-up comedy, with up-and-coming French and European performers to our delight. All with one aim in mind: to make us laugh with their offbeat humor and make for a superb evening! Two sessions are offered at 7 or 7.30pm and 9 or 9.30pm depending on the day. One of the venue's special features is the package with show admission and optional dinner-show! In addition to the friendly bar, the establishment has kept the chef (it used to be the restaurant Le Dilemme), so you can enjoy the talent of his cuisine as well as that of the artists! This isn't just any restaurant: it's a real offering of gourmet planks, with formulas of beautifully prepared tapas to share. We're particularly fond of the Smile board, with its crispy prawns, falafels, tapenade, patatas bravas and guacamole (to name but a few). And, of course, a hot and cold drinks menu. During the show, you can choose to dine (optional) or just have a drink, and be served at the table while enjoying the artists. Achref and Olivier, the venue's managers, and their smiling team are always on hand to make sure you have a great time.
