Poultry Ile-De-France

The successors of Pierre Desjardin, who created this business some sixty years ago, continue the activity in the same direction. The origins of the poultry have not changed: the ducks come from Challans and the chickens from Bresse or the Landes; the rabbits were raised in the Gâtinais. The delicatessen and butcher's departments complete the offer: lamb from Lozère, milk-fed veal from Corrèze with the red label, beef from Aquitaine... All of this is "beautiful linen"! With its slightly retro frontage, this store cannot be missed in the shopping street of Belles-Feuilles. A much appreciated address, if we judge by the queue, on Sunday morning, for a grilled chicken.

Here, with the poultry of exploitation, the CAP is made - ready to cook - all year on order: chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, rabbits and, at the end of the year, geese, turkeys and capons.

The family adventure began in 1979, and today we cultivate almost 110 hectares of wheat and field peas, feeding no fewer than 10,000 free-range chickens. Production includes eggs, distributed as far as Rungis, as well as poultry and terrines, available in the farm store. The shop also sells delicatessen products from the Brie region: jellies, beers, jams, pasta, flour, honeys, gherkins, cider and dried vegetables.
