It was here in 1761 that this gourmet saga began, with Pierre-Jean Bernard opening a store. His companion Marie-Adelaïde made it prosper and gentrified what was then a grocery store, which in 1810 was named "A la mère de famille", in reference to the mother of the family. The fashionable grocery specialised in confectionery from 1856. In 1984, the storefront was listed as a historic monument. Taken over in 2000 by the Dolfi family, who continue the tradition, the chocolates, ice creams and sweets of this illustrious house continue to delight connoisseurs.

It was in the village of... Puyricard, in Provence, that a Belgian couple opened the eponymous chocolate factory. Since then, the company has flourished in the South and beyond, with three stores in Paris, including this one, located behind the Lutétia hotel. As proof of its undeniable know-how, in 2010 it was the first food company to obtain the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. Handmade chocolate, calissons d'Aix rich in almonds - the other specialty of the company - lemon or orange peel, marrons glacés, caramels... You will find it hard to resist.

Les Gourmandises boutique in Coulommiers is a real treasure. Corinne offers a warm welcome in a cosy setting. Her shelves are overflowing with artisanal products from the four corners of France: honeys, jams, sweets, chocolates and teas. The "cosy chic" tearoom, a natural extension of the boutique, offers a convivial atmosphere where you can sample delicacies, buy gift boxes, plush toys or postcards.

Founder of the Damyel brand, Richard Uzan, who has now left us, had a twofold objective: to offer excellent products that are also kosher. Target met! Damyel is synonymous with quality and, thanks to this sign, the practising Jewish community now has access to the best in the chocolate and confectionery sectors. The history of the house began in Sarcelles (95) in 1988. In addition to the historic Val-d'Oise boutique, the brand operates five points of sale in Paris. On their displays, mouthful chocolate and bars, chocolate specialities (mendiants, orangettes...), macaroons, sugared almonds... A very tempting offer.

This fine grocery store sells fatty livers, refined seafood products (caviar, sea salt), but also sweet treats such as macaroons, chocolates, sweets, golden grapes… You will also find a selection of red, rosé and champagne wines.

Candy Paradis is a small boutique that will please young and old alike. Here, sweets and pastries are king, and you can see it from the front, colourful and so appetizing. Candies, desserts, cupcakes, macaroons and customizable cakes, usually without added sugar and sometimes even gluten and lactose free. Everyone has the right to their own cake! Candy Paradis can also make pastries to suit your events: baptism, birthday, wedding... All your desires can take shape! Finally, note that the place is open non-stop on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which is very convenient for assets that would like to visit here.

Effluents of mint! Located in the heart of Milly-la-Forêt since 1934, the traditional herbalist's shop Millymenthe offers natural products around plants and the charms of yesteryear. You will find the famous Milly-la-Forêt peppermint, infusions and medicinal plants, teas, carefully selected food supplements, essential oils, but also the famous Millymenthe candies with honey and plant essences. Not to mention honeys from the Gâtinais, essential oils, tea and even cosmetics and mint soaps.

It is a boutique of charm reminiscent of the confectioner of yesteryear who keep a bit of the apothecary, where one comes with relish, a smile to the lips of what awaits us, doubled from a feeling vaguely guilty of a child caught in a blatant offence of gourmandise. Between the dark woodwork, the shelves are full of discoveries, chocolates, candies and other delicacies for coloured, design or old-fashioned packages. Behind the counter, the shelving of transparent jars allows to buy by weight all kinds of sweets, gelled candy to bêtises Bêtises, by caramels of Guérande, sweet or savoury liquorice or chocolates. It is an inescapable one.
