The France-Egypt association organizes conferences every month, and gathers lovers of the country, who almost all stayed there: diplomats, archaeologists... The conferences are usually held at the Centre Asiem, 6 rue Albert de Lapparent, 75007 Paris.

They were at the heart of a major controversy: the Serres d'Auteuil had to make way for the extension of Roland-Garros. In the end, a compromise was reached to keep the location, at the cost of relocating some of them. And what a result: tropical and exotic plants, the vast central lawn and its ornamentation of multicoloured flowers, unique thematic collections, nature in all its splendour, and then the architectural beauty of these grandiose greenhouses, which date back more than a century and bear witness to a unique know-how. The access is free, and we take our eyes off here. A visit not necessarily known, but widely appreciated.

This association has already achieved remarkable actions and remains anchored in a great dynamic thanks to its many projects. Grain of sand works for medical and school assistance in the Agadez region. The volunteers of this association have set up four schools in the Tidène Valley (in Sakafat, Tissawaten, Arrarouss and Tibouhet) and open several care centres. In spite of the transport difficulties she encounters, the association has already «delivered» two tons of Niger school supplies in 1998, 500 kg of medicines…

This association has a library with a fund of nearly 2 000 books. It organizes numerous conferences and publishes a quarterly journal.

The Federation of Buddhist Associations of France, also known as the Buddhist Union of France, was founded in 1986. It brings together Buddhist associations and congregations of France, links with the public authorities and works to develop Buddhist thought and modernity. Similarly, UBF is an information centre that protects the values of Buddhism. It identifies over million practising Buddhists in France and sits in the Vincennes pagoda.

The Permanent Delegation of Mexico to UNESCO in Paris is an institute and cultural center representing Mexico at the international organization.

Paris is home to the Union Lettone en France, an institute and cultural center dedicated to the Latvian community.

This cultural center organizes a wide range of events, including Korean language courses, Korean film screenings and hands-on workshops, and publishes the excellent magazine Culture coréenne.

This center is run by the Cultural Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, commonly known as South Korea. It offers a dynamic program of exhibitions, concerts, film screenings, lectures, art workshops (Korean knots, painting, calligraphy) and Korean language courses. There's also a multimedia space and a library for consultation and lending. Note that the place is open from Monday to Saturday, and that you don't need to know anything about Korean culture to come here!

The Société française d'égyptologie offers a range of activities including exhibition visits, trips and meetings. Now part of the Théâtre de la Ville network, Espace Cardin was created by the famous couturier in 1970 in the former Théâtre des Ambassadeurs, overlooking the Champs-Elysées gardens. It includes a theater, cinema, conference room, restaurant and exhibition space. Today, it is a venue for a wide range of private and media events, as well as shows and exhibitions, depending on the period. Its rich past makes it an iconic venue.

Supported by the French authorities, this magnificent cultural space in the heart of Paris aims to foster encounters between Latin Americans and the French. The buildings, made up of two private mansions joined together (the Hôtel de Varengeville and the Hôtel Amelot de Gournay), are the setting for this organisation, launched in the aftermath of the Second World War to enable Latin Americans and the French to exchange better. There's also an art gallery on site.

The Muslim Institute of the Paris Mosque, founded in 1920, is governed by Si Kaddou ben Ghabrit, president of the society of Habous and Holy places of Islam. France participated in its financing. The society of Des selects the architects Robert Fournez and Maurice Mantout. They are Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian craftsmen who have made marble, polychrome earthenware and stucco coatings, as well as the fountains of the Paris Mosque. It was inaugurated in 1926 and is now being managed thanks to the generosity of the Arab countries. The minaret of 26   m in height overlooks the white domes and the beautiful garden surrounding them.
