Read moreInaugurated in 1895, with a surface area of 3 hectares, the beach of L'Isle-Adam is the largest river beach in France. Surrounded by huts, similar to those that can be seen on the Normandy coast, the place does not lack charm. While strolling on the "boards", one discovers a fine sandy beach that covers a third of the surface of the site, two swimming pools, including an Olympic one, water slides, beach-volleyball courts, tennis courts, miniature golf and ping-pong tables. Boat and other watercraft rentals are also available.

You don't need a license, as you can hire an electric boat or a canoe-kayak and lose yourself with delight along a 20 km-long course, in an aquatic landscape punctuated by wooden pontoons and home to all the beautiful flora and fauna of the Seine-et-Marn region. There's also a beach, a pétanque court and, of course, a guinguette offering a variety of snacks and drinks.

Read moreThe animations take place on a 1 500 metre 100 metre water plane. State-run monitors set the Parisians for an initiation to the small sailing boats from 420 to caravelle, through topper, laser, laser and optimist. You can also engage in the practice of windsurfing, rowing and canoeing. Adult courses are held on Saturdays from 9 a. m. to 12 p. m. and from 14 p. m. to 17 p. m. and on Sundays from 9 a. m. to 12 p. m., from September to December and from March to July (except holidays). Registrations are made on site. The 12-17 years, for their part, are expected during school holidays. The water base is open Monday to Friday from 9 a. M. to 12 p. m. and from 14 p. m. to 17 p. m. in the Sports Initiation Centres or for one week internship from 9 p. m. to 17 p. m. in municipal sports schools. Attention: provide a 50-metre swimming patent and two identity photos to obtain the registration card.
