Two days of celebration in the alleys and courtyards of Montcuq. The centre for Choreographic Development of Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées organizes this event featuring contemporary dance performances from France and elsewhere.

A true institution in this pottery village, this artistic event is awaited by all craftsmen, amateurs and enthusiasts of ceramic art and contemporary creation. Every year, over 1,300 short films, ranging from fiction to animation to documentary, are screened during the festival. The association Toulouse Polars du Sud was born from the meeting of book professionals and readers. It organizes evenings, meetings and exhibitions to promote detective literature and to encourage people who are far away from it to read. Its most important event takes place on the second weekend of October with its annual festival: during three days, the noir novel falls on the pink city! Mainly centered in the Mirail district, it also takes place in libraries, media libraries and bookstores in the city center and the surrounding area.

Since 1994, the Festival International des Arts du Verre has brought together renowned exhibitors and artists in picturesque premises in the old village, with an emphasis on glassblowing techniques and contemporary creations. Quality rural stage at the best of francophone song. It is the meeting place for lovers of words and French song. More confidential than other events in the Lot, this festival gives pride of place to song lyrics and programs of artists often confirmed, but known in rather limited circles. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big events, come and take advantage of artists and discover unknown artists of great quality.

Every year, this gathering of hot-air balloons over the bastide town of Villefranche (Friday evening and Saturday morning), or the fortress of Najac (Sunday morning), brings together lovers of beautiful landscapes. More than 25 balloons, from all over France, take to the skies for two days. It's a chance to get some height, simply by looking up. A breathtaking spectacle! Almost magical, as you watch the multicolored bubbles evolve over medieval cities. A great way to discover our heritage!

The conservatory of music and drama named Manitas de Plata opened in 2020. This new building with a sober and refined design is over 6,400^m2. Built on the Quai des Moulins, it contains a 400-seat auditorium that hosts events specific to the conservatory, but also cultural events. There is also a restaurant area, rehearsal rooms and two large patios. Concerts and performances are filled with discoveries.

On June 15, 16 and 17, 2018, Gonzai and the producer "Voulez-vous Danser" took over the Cosmos square in La Grande-Motte, 300 metres from the beaches, for the first edition of the Pyramid Festival dedicated to synthetic music. On the program, the "cream" of French artists in the genre.

This colorful and convivial festival pays tribute to the most famous child of the country: Georges Brassens, who wanted to be buried on the beach of Sète... The Cap Brassens association organizes this event from October 22, day of the birth of the composer-poet. It takes place in the whole Revolution district and starts from his birth house with a whole lot of concerts, meetings and other exhibitions. It is a week of celebrations, joys and discoveries. Far less famous than the Mirande festival, and also more recent, the Vic-Fezensac Western Country Festival nonetheless attracts enthusiasts of this line dance straight from the United States of America. The dancers don their boots and stetsons, and step to the rhythm of the banjo and fiddle. Far West-inspired entertainment and free concerts are also organized in the town center, which is redecorated in the colors of the American flag for the occasion. The festival will celebrate its ^6th edition in 2024.

For a quarter of a century, this unique festival has been a sailing stage on the Canal du Midi. The Convivencia cultural association, located on the southern outskirts of Toulouse in Ramonville, programs concerts on a traveling barge. A variety of world music is represented as the barge travels from Toulouse to the Mediterranean. Each port of call has its own program. Concerts are accompanied by tastings, river heritage events and exhibitions... Great festive and convivial moments along the water.

Since 1988, this literary festival is very popular and its godmother is none other than the famous Fred Vargas. This year, the theme "Adventure is adventure" will bring together nearly 35 novelists (literature, youth and comics) of 10 different nationalities for meetings and signings around epics, travels and castles in Spain, quests and escapes, escapes and disappearances. Organized by the Binaros association, the Salon du Livre Pyrénéen is a literary event promoting books about the Pyrenees. Initiated by two enthusiasts, it showcases the richness and diversity of Pyrenean culture through meetings with authors, conferences, exhibitions and events. For two days, novels and essays on heritage, history and the environment take center stage, with the award of the Prix du Livre Pyrénéen. In addition to French and Spanish, Basque, Occitan and Catalan are also spoken... It's a wonderful event that brings people together in a warm and instructive atmosphere.

K-Live is the very first festival of the summer. Dedicated to urban cultures, it invites street-artists to color the walls of the city with their murals, under the amazed eyes of onlookers. Come and discover the spirit of the troubadours through this original festival! From April to October, some 50 concerts take place in the 13 departments of the Occitanie region, with artists from all over the world reinterpreting the songs of Romanesque art. This itinerant festival takes place in places representative of Occitan medieval history, such as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Abbey, Notre-Dame de Flaran Abbey and Saint-Lizier Cathedral.
