Maison Lavabre Cadet was once Yves Saint Laurent's favorite glove brand, and was recently acquired by French luxury goods house Camille Fournet. Established in 1946, the Millau workshop still makes bespoke gloves for haute couture houses. Lavabre Cadet's exacting standards and expertise are perfectly in tune with the contemporary values of French luxury that Camille Fournet sought. Since 1924, Maison Fabre has been perpetuating the traditional glove-making know-how in the heart of Millau. Etienne Fabre created the luxury glove workshop in 1924. In the 1950s, his son moved into the current premises and his daughter-in-law left for Paris to present her collections. The company was an immediate success, with up to 300 employees. Two generations later, the Fabre family is still there, with several hundred customers around the world: leather goods manufacturers, department stores, luxury boutiques... The vast sales area presents its articles: gloves but also belts, card holders and, more recently, lambskin masks.

On the Causses, one hundred and thirty years of glove history are written in Millau, the world cradle of the glove. This very special place is home to master glove-makers, seamstresses with meticulous hands and a unique know-how that no machine can replace. Marie created Le Bonnet des Montagnes in 2019 at the foot of the Pyrenees. She works with a shepherd raising Merino ewes, and makes each piece herself in her workshop. In addition to made-to-measure hats, she offers a beautiful range of products for every need: the urban-style Docker hat, the M'Ax hat that transforms into a choker, headband or hand-warmer sleeve, and also the Pyrénéen, a lightweight, breathable hat suitable for sports and mountain activities. Marie also offers introductory courses in wool processing.
