Close to the town center, with over 120,000 documents, the library occupies part of the Saintignon mansion, built in the ^18th century. The Pierre Messmer collection, inaugurated in 2009, features a special collection of almost 3,500 documents, some of which are unique, rare and precious, having belonged to the former Prime Minister and Mayor of Sarrebourg. Comprising two vast sections, youth and adult, the library offers document loans, storytelling hours, literary cafés, workshops, online training courses and more.

The library Au Jardin des Livres is part of the cultural infrastructure of the town of Dieue-sur-Meuse. You can come in to browse through the latest news, relax, broaden your horizons, have fun, and sit in the reading corner. It offers a large selection of books for adults and children (novels, periodicals, comics, practical guides, etc.), spread out in clear and functional aisles. An essential place to feed your imagination.

It is an essential venue for jazz and improvised music fans in the Aube region. Since 1995, the Aube Musiques Actuelles association has been committed to promoting these musical genres through concerts and events.
