Each year, the SUK awards scholarships to students enrolled in Grades 3 and 2, the Institute of European Studies, and the École nationale des sciences appliquées de Strasbourg. Their amount is not cumulative with any other form of assistance. Improving the living and working conditions of students is the primary mission of CROUS. Through 5 major centres, CROUS actively participates in promoting equal access to higher education for students. Every year, students can benefit from assistance to finance their studies through scholarships based on social criteria, housing in university residences, access to the university restaurant to eat balanced meals on campus at a lower cost, access to culture through the many events organized on campus. The CROUS also opens up to international students and welcomes them to its university residences.

Agoraé is a solidarity grocery store on social criteria set up by and for the students of Greater Nancy. Healthy and balanced foodstuffs are sold at very low prices, which is a godsend when you have to pay for your studies and rent, or even work to do so! Supported by the Fédélor (Student Federation of Lorraine), the structure also wishes to create social links and to become a civic incubator, in order to fight against isolation. The cafeteria, exhibitions, cooking classes and the "Ruche qui dit oui" (hive of activity) help to breathe life into the place.

APHEEN is an association that provides accommodation for students and teachers in Nancy. It is a great opportunity to find "bare" or furnished accommodation close to your place of study. Located in a student area, with shops and services close by and central, this residence has studios of 27 and 37 m² accessible to handicapped persons and apartments of 45^{m2 at} moderate prices. Studying here means discovering the French language at the heart of the University of Lorraine and benefiting from its infrastructure. Le DéFle enables foreign students in residence in the city to learn and/or perfect their French, while discovering the culture of our country. Registration is preceded by a language test. Courses are offered on a semester or yearly basis, for twenty hours a week, or à la carte, depending on individual objectives. For intra-European Erasmus students, these lessons are free of charge.

AGORAé is a space of solidarity and exchange open to all students and an Intercampus solidarity grocery store, accessible according to social criteria, on the Red Cross campus in modular building 1.8. Throughout the year, you will find fresh products, groceries and basic necessities but also workshops to learn how to make household products, friendly and free activities such as Wednesday pancakes and board games... AGORAé is a place entirely managed by students that works daily for equal opportunities in higher education. A second space has opened in the Teilhard de Chardin residence, at 9 rue des Crayères.
