Through 5 major centres, CROUS actively participates in promoting equal access to higher education for students. Every year, students can benefit from assistance to finance their studies through scholarships based on social criteria, housing in university residences, access to the university restaurant to eat balanced meals on campus at a lower cost, access to culture through the many events organized on campus. The CROUS also opens up to international students and welcomes them to its university residences.

Read moreAgoraé is a solidarity grocery store on social criteria set up by and for the students of Greater Nancy. Healthy and balanced foodstuffs are sold at very low prices, which is a godsend when you have to pay for your studies and rent, or even work to do so! Supported by the Fédélor (Student Federation of Lorraine), the structure also wishes to create social links and to become a civic incubator, in order to fight against isolation. The cafeteria, exhibitions, cooking classes and the "Ruche qui dit oui" (hive of activity) help to breathe life into the place.

Le DéFle enables foreign students in residence in the city to learn and/or perfect their French, while discovering the culture of our country. Registration is preceded by a language test. Courses are offered on a semester or yearly basis, for twenty hours a week, or à la carte, depending on individual objectives. For intra-European Erasmus students, these lessons are free of charge.
