Right bank, departure from Thionville.Follow the canal as far as Yutz, then follow the river around its loop. From Basse-Ham, you reach Koenigsmacker.

Left bank, departure from Manom. But you can also reach the banks at Thionville, below the town hall. This paved road links Manom to Remich in Luxembourg for just over 50 km.

Rive et coeur de ville en fête: an event not to be missed during the summer months (July-August). It's organized by the city of Thionville, and the festive atmosphere is guaranteed! On the riverbanks, it's time for festivities and relaxation. On Thionville's quaysides, the little booths are packed with drinks, ice creams and other delicacies. The bicycle path between Saint-Dizier and the Lac du Der, 12 km long, is open on the side path of the canal that brings water from the Marne to the lake. This route has the advantage of being entirely paved, flat and with a panoramic view of the landscapes surrounding the lake and the timber-framed houses. For those who love long walks, you can continue your journey by the 38 km long "voie verte" of the Lac du Der. Rest areas punctuate this route accessible to families.

Since 1923, this historical store proposes you, in Saverne, the sale, the rent and the repair of your bicycles, that they are of race, vtt, vtc, city, children, ebike, tandems, etc. or of karting and other scooter (50-125 cc). Calling all cyclists and bike enthusiasts: the Vel'Oxygène association is opening its Maison du vélo! The atmosphere is one of conviviality in this place of exchange, information and sharing, where two-wheeled enthusiasts come together to share the same passion. Leave the car behind and take your bike out for a spin to discover the many activities on offer. The association offers self-repair workshops where you can learn how to maintain and repair your bike yourself, a bike school for beginners, film screenings, conferences and a host of other cycling-related cultural events. And for a friendly get-together with other cyclists, bike rides and apéro-vélo events are organized on a regular basis.

The local environment is conducive to outdoor sports, and offers both amateur and experienced cyclists a host of attractive routes. From Sarrebourg, you can cycle along rural landscapes, meadows, forests and typical Lorraine villages in just 12 km. With little difficulty, it's also ideal for walkers, joggers and rollerbladers to enjoy the country air of the Bièvre Valley.

The hamlet of lodgings of Sarrebourg values the diversity of its environment! The leisure center offers a framework adapted for nautical activities and the discovery of nature, starting point for the pedestrian or cyclist hikes of the area. Bicycles are available for rent. It connects a number of tourist attractions in East Moselle and the Saarland, including the La Mine museum at Carreau Wendel, the Bliesbruck-Reinheim archaeological park, the Sarreguemines earthenware circuit, Saarbrücken's historic city center and the Völklingen steelworks. Get on your bike for a ride on the banks of the Moselle! The blue way can be taken in Metz by the Eblé bridge. Several routes are available. The route from Metz to Corny-sur-Moselle for example, round trip is about 40 km. Don't worry, the path is well indicated and tables for eating are available. For the more adventurous, the route from Metz to Thionville and back is about 60 km. In total, this cycle route offers 700 km of cycling, from Luxembourg to Lyon, along the water...
