PUB L’ESCALE

Pub

The mandatory stopover for beer lovers of all kinds! The atmosphere is great in this friendly Irish pub but if this address has become a must, it is above all for its well-stocked beer menu. In all, more than 130 bottles and 18 draught beers: the essential Trappists of Belgium and the Netherlands, the local people of Champagne, the English amber, the smoked Germans, the Irish, Scottish or Canadian stouts and the Italian pale ale... Each pint of the fabulous hop drink makes you discover the typical notes of its terroir, a true journey through Europe with a short detour to America.

L'AXO

Pub

The atmosphere is always festive in this Champagne pub! We move away from the bustle of the Place d'Erlon to the calm of the Rue du Jard, a stone's throw from the cathedral. On the program, champagne of course, with about thirty references to be tasted, a beautiful wine list but also craft and local beers on draught, house cocktails and delicious tapas to be shared in conviviality. Planks of cold meats and mature cheeses, terrines, croques, all good things to nibble on. And throughout the year, the bar comes alive with thematic evenings: blind test, darts tournament, Beaujolais evening or fondue party!

LA TAVERNE DE L'IRLANDAIS

Pub
4.5/5

The festival is of all times in this temple impossible to circumvent! There is a perpetual movement here that intoxicates and melts with the scent of Guinness. Irish beer of reference, it is the link between all. It interferes in conversations, it is loved by the lonely, it becomes a chameleon, takes on shades of gold or amber depending on the atmosphere. Friends' reunions, student parties, dating know how to find their place, punctuated by a pool table or a concert. What's more, theme evenings and special rates on all beers are available to students during the school year. These lucky ones take advantage of the "happy hour" on certain products after 9pm. A place of warm winters inside, the Pub l'Irlandais is also a partner in the summer when, on the neighbouring Place Thiers, its terrace is set up and adds stars to the stars in the sky. A place where you can also enjoy a homemade dish of the day.

LE SHAMROCK

Pub
4.3/5

The Shamrock is still Irish style, with Jacques and his team of girls at the bar like a benevolent father to his staff and customers, some of whom are studious, others eclectic, dynamic and sporty. Beers, cocktails and countless whiskies are on offer at the bar, not forgetting the cocktail and beer of the month. With themed evenings every Tuesday, including the most rusty, the Irish Folk Session, every first Tuesday of the month, which has been bringing together passionate musicians around Celtic music for over a decade, sports broadcasts during major events, and weekends always packed, the atmosphere is everywhere, in the bar, the cellar and the terrace. It speaks every language. Located just a stone's throw from Mulhouse's Palais des Sports and close to the universities, it's a rallying point for foreign students and gangs of friends who've just finished their sports session. An unchanging café-pub in Mulhouse that always keeps its promises.

RESTAURANT PUB PICCADILLY’S

Pub

Nicole and Manu have been welcoming you since 2003 in this authentic English pub which also offers catering and tea-room. The drinks map is particularly representative with 88 types of beers, 33 whiskies, 20 different cocktails. Of course, the Anglo-Saxon specialties are well represented by the appetite: fish & chips, beer cake or whisky, but we have choice in salads, fresh pasta, sharp pie, pizzas, grills. Theme evenings are organized regularly - Saint Patrick, Paella, Mussels. Finally, a well-stocked bar, an authentic, cozy, intimate, intimate, paneled, wooden-velvet setting makes it an ideal place to find yourself in a couple or with friends.

The most: the ideal place for a post-work, a football or relaxing break during a visit to the city.

LE CHURCHILL

Pub

It's a real little piece of London that you'll find in this bar in the heart of Metz. On Rue du Palais, the Churchill is already a real eye-catcher, just by its name. Inside, a giant portrait of the famous Prime Minister, cigar in the mouth and gun in the hand like a gangster, welcomes you and sets the tone. Here the atmosphere is rock, retro, a bit rebellious and warm like in any good pub! The place is spacious but friendly and it fills up quickly on weekend evenings or during theme nights. There is a large choice of beers and cocktails but also something to eat and have fun (pool, darts, photo booth...). So let's paint the town red !

SHAMROCK PUB

Bar and caf

In the heart of the city, on rue de l'Ancien-Hôtel-de-Ville, you will find a good address for rock and metal fans. But not only that! If you are looking for an Irish pub-style bar with a cool and relaxed atmosphere, or a place to come and watch the big football matches while sipping a good beer, you are also in the right place. In the summer, the lively terrace in this alleyway is very pleasant. The Shamrock Pub regularly organizes concerts and theme nights (such as the Oktobeer Fest or "Balance your monologue"). Every weekend you can let off steam with the mix parties. There's plenty to make the nights in Thionville rock'n'roll!

LA MALTERIE

Pub

On the famous square, take a seat at La Malterie, an establishment halfway between a pub and a restaurant. The menu is rather classical with flammekueches, hot or cold plates, sandwiches, burgers, bowls, fish & chips... On the pub side, you'll find more than fifteen beers on draught and forty or so bottled references. And for spirits: a wide range of rums, cognacs and whiskies are on the menu. Don't forget to always drink in moderation, eh? The atmosphere of the Malterie is nice and the setting pleasant. On sunny days, the 80-seat terrace offers an air of vacation!

L'EXPLORATEUR 1828

It's English time at the chic Explorateur 1828 pub. With its pretty stained-glass windows and comfortable leather banquettes, you'd think you were back in Victorian London. You'll be delighted to sit down and sample the impressive beer list, which ranges from Belgian and Trappist classics to home-grown regional beers and amazing beer cocktails that go perfectly with welsh, homemade fish and chips or duck poutine. With spirits, champagnes, wines, house cocktails, sharing platters, burgers, salads and tartars, there's no shortage of options on the menu for enjoying a treat or a drink while watching the game!

Beer lovers, look no further! Ideally located in the heart of downtown, just a few steps from Place Stanislas and the most fashionable nightclubs, it's the perfect place to start partying.
