A concert hall dedicated to contemporary music in Metz, the Boîte à Musiques (BAM), which can accommodate up to 1,115 people, is located in the heart of the Metz-Borny district. A modular venue, it also has a balcony that can accommodate 300 people. Its large, bright hall and its astonishing openings to the outside make it a unique and remarkable venue with architecture by Rudy Ricciotti. The programming is eclectic and open to all genres, from jazz to experimental, from reggae to world music... On concert evenings you can enjoy a drink at the BAM bar. As part of the "Metz en Scènes" project, BAM also supports the musicians and project leaders in their initiatives, and provides them with administrative and artistic support, including three rehearsal studios and a 100-seat stage area. L'Autre Canal is the reference venue for contemporary music in Nancy. Created in 2007, this building with its bright red modern architecture is recognizable among thousands. The programming is very eclectic and for all ages. There are even shows for young children! With a large hall and a smaller one that can be used simultaneously, as well as workshops and studio rentals for budding artists, L'Autre Canal is a true music center that helps the idols of tomorrow to progress with the help of recognized professionals.

Located near the campus and the Grillenbreit district, the Grillen is the contemporary music hall managed by the city of Colmar since 1998. Its capacity does not exceed 350 seats, the concerts remain intimate, far from the zeniths and the gigantic and impersonal halls. All musical styles are represented: pop, rock, punk, soul, metal, hardcore, garage, electro, experimental, rap, blues... Teachers from the conservatory also come to perform there and the hall is open to all associations wishing to organise alternative and festive evenings (notably Live!, After Dark, Hiéro Colmar, Hopla! Zone 51...) The Grillen also puts two rehearsal studios at the disposal of local bands who regularly have the opportunity to showcase their talent during opening acts. Be careful, don't arrive too late on concert evenings as the seats are free (and standing). To preserve your ears, Le Grillen provides earplugs and, in the interest of ecology, the bar's cups are consigned. Le Grillen also hosts very friendly improvisation match evenings and other events such as the jazz off festival. All you have to do is enjoy the concerts, massed in the crowd or in the adjoining bar!

In August 1992, the first evening took place in this industrial wasteland converted into a modern music scene. These labels attributed by the Ministry of Culture as well as the associative history which carried this project contributed to make the "Nouma" a high place of the music in Alsace and in France. Carpenter, visual artist, photographer, entrepreneur, such are the inhabitants of this extraordinary place. Formerly an industrial wasteland which is being reborn from its fallow land, it is regularly featured in the press. Institutional or professional evenings worthy of large metropolises are organised there: what could be more trendy than an event in such an unusual place?

This 300-seat room dedicated to humour in all its forms was created by two passionate lovers of living art and scratch-hair, the couple Marguier. Because they lacked a place to express in an amusing way their local and national favourites, the Warehouse had to fill this void. The programming is of high quality, and many national artists come here to test their new shows. The most? The possibility of having dinner or a drink before or after the show.

Here is an original address that invites you to live evenings that are out of the ordinary! The decor is a guarantee of escape. A vast room suitable for concerts, several spaces for drinking, dancing, meeting. A huge veranda, heated during the day and open in the summer with shimmering lights, offers a friendly and festive atmosphere. You will be able to attend concerts but also many theme parties (90's, blind test...) while ordering drinks and snacks. It feels like spending an evening with friends, and it feels good!

The Tram is a third place composed of three distinct spaces: a municipal music conservatory with a 120-seat auditorium, a youth and extracurricular reception area and finally a performance hall. The rich and varied programming ranges from one-man shows, including several comedians, to theater and concerts. The Petit Tram offers fun musical shows to awaken children (from 5 years old) to the sounds of different instruments. The literary aperitifs put forward stories and portraits on a theme. The actors of the DEST theater company lend their voices to paint a society that resembles us.

With a surface area of nearly 93,000 m², the Zénith de Nancy can accommodate up to 25,000 people. It is not only the largest concert hall in the department, but also the first facility in Europe to offer a reversible open-air stage! In this huge space, mythical artists and bands such as AC/DC, Phil Collins, Imagine Dragons, M or Scorpions perform. In the summer, the outdoor amphitheater provides an unforgettable experience! Note: the lobby can be rented to individuals or companies for receptions.

You will recognize by far the white neon displaying the name of the room. The 112, all wood, fits intelligently into this tree décor. The stage of more than 100 m ² has already been excavated by many artists, and not least: Jacques Higelin, Pete Doherty or Oxmo Puccino… And yes! The Mosellane hall, not far from Thionville, offers its eclectic programming and good taste. Apart from concerts, some events such as exhibitions or restoration are organized. This venue hosts shows and concerts all year round. The diverse program is aimed at adults and children alike. School shows are also offered. Le Préo also organizes artistic workshops.

Under the direction of Pierre Chaput, the Django Reihnardt cultural area offers a range of cultural activities throughout the year. Under the leadership of the artistic programmer Benoit Van Kote, the shows aim to support talents and generations, while associating the population and the actors of the neighborhood. Discover, raise awareness, question and change practices! Projects carried by the cultural center relate to music, but also to all living and visual arts.

Are you a music lover or simply curious? Come to Espace Malraux. You'll be able to discover artists who may not yet be well known, but who are undeniably talented. On the program: world music, gypsy jazz, poetic post-pop, rock and blues or Alsatian rock, vocal trio... The line-up is iconoclastic, with many local groups taking to the stage. Little known, this small 300-seat concert hall run by the CROUS (next to a university restaurant) nevertheless hosts quality concerts all year round, at very affordable prices, for a varied audience. In addition to its activity during Nancy Jazz Pulsations, the annual program is also well-stocked, offering a range of musical styles and musical nuggets. Le Hublot can also be rented all year round, except during school vacations. The only negative point, in our opinion, is that parking in the vicinity can be very tricky.

A good address if you are looking for a show in Epinal. Don't hesitate to ask the tourist office for information about the program. The Auditorium de la Louvière has had several lives. This former swimming pool has been entirely renovated to welcome shows and associations from Epinal. Many events are organized there.
