BRANTFORD TO HAMILTON RAIL TRAIL

The Brantford-Hamilton railway has been transformed into a multi-purpose trail and crosses the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. It extends over some thirty kilometres, linking these two towns, and is accessible on foot, by bicycle, snowshoe, cross-country ski and even on horseback. Access from the Hamilton area is to the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in Dundas and access fees may be charged (Jerseyville and Brantford access is free).

There are over 600 km of multi-use trails in the region, 236 km of which are managed by the National Capital Commission (NCC). This network links Quebec and Ontario through urban, agricultural and forested landscapes, making it one of the most extensive in North America. On foot, rollerblades, bicycle, cross-country skis or snowshoes, it's a great ride that awaits you. The bicycle rental companies in the downtown area are located along the Capital Pathway.
