FOIRE DE LA QUASIMODO

The city of Argentan has had a strong fair activity for a long time. In the Middle Ages, there were no fewer than six. But it was in 1919 that the first exhibition of the Quasimodo was held in its current form. A very popular event, it reflects all the commercial activities of the region in addition to one of the largest departmental breeding events where cattle and equine of all races compete in a competition very appreciated by farmers, but also the public. Each year, the fair that takes place on the following weekend Easter, at the Exhibition Hall, welcomes a region or country, with its tourism, folklore, specialities and crafts.
