Every summer, the green beach comes alive, for 3 days, during this very appreciated and original festival. Completely free, this festival allows you to watch movies, quietly installed in a deckchair, on a towel or a chair, and in the open air. Let's bet that the choice of films will be, this year again, outstanding! As every year, the moment will be the occasion, before the film, to dance according to the music of a group come to interpret in live some pieces. Certainly one of the highlights of the summer in the capital of Cotentin.

Le Courtivore's mission is to promote a film genre that it feels is too often forgotten: the short film, those films that are less than 25 minutes long, including the credits. And the festival, which has been held every spring for 20 years, has been a great success. Beforehand, a call for films is opened, then a pre-selection is established. During three screenings, the public will vote for the films of their choice and these will go on to the final during a special evening at the Omnia République. An event for film lovers and budding artists!

The Fantastic Film Festival program is divided between two activities: Fantastic Conventions and screenings of old horror films. During the conventions, which open at 10am and close at 6pm, festival-goers can listen to lectures, enjoy a variety of activities, chat with authors at book signings, take part in cosplay contests or a zombie parade. Don't be afraid to be scared... this original festival gives you the creeps, but in a friendly atmosphere.

The association La Mancha lives up to its name: it is, literally, the Norman friendship movement for Spanish-American culture. Since 1982, the association has organized the annual Cinemovida festival. It is an event dedicated to Hispanic audiovisual culture. Every year, the association, in coordination with the Odeon cinema, the city, the Regional Council and the association Atout Lire, organizes screenings to introduce Hispanic-American cinema, but also conferences, meetings, exhibitions and concerts.
