"Everything starts with the pleasure of materials," says Cécile Bouvarel: know-how, poetry, and an undeniable talent around contemporary mosaic, which are declined throughout the gallery according to paintings, lights, and beautiful decorative objects. Here, the creations are shared between decorative works and themes from her imagination. The studio and the beautiful garden can be visited. The artist also proposes very beautiful works.

In the immediate vicinity of the Mont, while restaurants, hotels and tourist shops are legion, supermarkets and means of obtaining everyday consumer goods are more scarce. And here, more than anywhere else, it is important to anticipate and prepare your visit to the site! On Rue Saint-Romain, this framing workshop is also a print store. Here you'll admire magnificent views of Rouen, Dieppe, and Étretat by local artists from different periods. Some of the engravings are current, while others are much older, sometimes dating back to the ^18th century. You may not realize it, but Rouen is the most engraved city after Paris, due to its historical influence and monuments. A good opportunity to treat yourself to a beautiful representation of the city of a hundred steeples, or to give one as a gift.

For 46 years, this workshop has been the only one in town! David Lambert took over from Mr. Pestel 5 years ago, and there's still a whiff of yesteryear as you enter the store. The trade has existed for almost 2,000 years, and it's quite exceptional to come across one (you can even see David at work behind the window!). For individuals, professionals and bibliophiles in general, he'll pamper your favorite works. Gilding on leather, ultra-careful binding, restoration, book protection - all done by hand!

Since 2004, Claudie Duvivier, aka Neck, lead chairs, coffee tables, consoles, shelves, mirrors, screens and stage sets with corrugated cardboard. The furniture is painted, varnished, decorated with motifs. No regard for solidity since the cardboards, carefully selected, are cut and worked to resist up to 100 kg of lift force to cm ² thanks to a technique borrowed from the design of boat hulls. Forms and colours, always very creative, are chosen with the guest and each room is unique. This craftsman- artist will gladly welcome you on appointment. Neck organizes courses and published in the Fleurus editions "the big book of the furniture made of paper" (2010) where it reveals its secrets.

If we work with pewter and copper in Villedieu, we don't stop there! Proof of this is this nice pottery workshop, which offers you to practice (whatever your level, novice or advanced) to the realization of useful or decorative objects. For yourself or in a group, you can learn the techniques here, and you can also book a workshop for a private event, a birthday for example. Finally, note that the shop allows you to discover, and acquire, many of these little wonders.

Part of the Charles Labé boutique in the heart of Cherbourg, Atelier du Siège is located west of the town, towards Beaumont. Here, it's time to refurbish your seats, meridians or other objects close to your heart. There's no limit to the choice, from the contemporary to the most modern, you'll be able to satisfy your desires with, of course, the assurance of maximum quality.

Francis Lefevre defines himself as a glass maker, and as a scientist, he is particularly keen on this dual approach. Creator, artist, chemist, he opens his workshop, by appointment only, so as to witness a demonstration of the manufacture of his objects, which it is no exaggeration to describe as works, both technique and aesthetics are cared for, but also if you want to acquire one of his creations, make them make one according to your inspiration. It also organizes induction courses on one day or development over a week. 

In the country of Lyons, where antique dealers and other traditional furniture lovers reign, the workshop in Jackson de Santos shows: Cabinetmaker of training, it creates furniture, objects, ultra contemporary, with amazing design (see this console in wave shape, rolled in bold colors), in a single or limited series. Amateurs of modern decoration, looking for the rare room, tailor-made, do not hesitate to take a detour through his workshop (by appointment) or to go to his meeting in the professional lounges.

Adèle has a passion: restoring life to ancient objects collected in the sales, transforming them into objects of today's decoration, diverting them from their first use. In his workshop, between his skilful hands, the forms to shoemaker shoes of wood become foot of lamps, a tractor saddle transforms into a bar stool. And these smart ideas find their place in your house. You can choose from the objects already made or contact to make it a custom object.

It set down on the banks of the Robec in early 2023, with four permanent artisans at its side. You may recognize Lamboy's hypnotic mobiles; Mère Guy's wooden paintings, in which the marine bird often plays the starring role; Toujours un Fil à la Patte's endearing crocheted frogs and Piü le poussin; and Yzo and his mischievous wooden robots named Marcel, Raoul. The store is festive and convivial, in keeping with the spirit of this street.

Live replicas and faithful fidèles of boat models that the former fisherman realizes himself. And beautiful paintings, marines, that can be offered.

If the idea of renewing the house of your house on the theme of the sea, history of prolonging the pleasure of holidays, or if you simply want to admire the quality collections, then musardez on the side of the art and crafts workshop of the captain Michel Vingtrois. Thanks to the latter's passion for shells, models of old rigging, demi and pulleys, The Wind of Upstream is a treasure island of its kind.

Small and large are found for advice or courses. A plastic arts workshop that blithely practises material recovery and diversion. Go to the Art Market on Sunday 1 st Sunday in Ver-sur-Mer. On Saturdays and Sundays in December from 10 a. m. to 18 p. m. do not miss "Christmas weekends  "  : about artists exhibit (painting, sculpture, lighting, jewelry…). Workshops for adults and children all year round and one-time show, a workshop that lacks dynamism  !
