What could be more pleasant than spending the day on the shores of Lake Settons frolicking in the water? This is what you can do with your family or friends at the Aquapark: a gigantic inflatable structure dressed in yellow and blue, floating on the calm waters of the lake, awaits you for endless obstacle courses. Equipped with life jackets to be on the safe side, you will be able to take on the slides, climbing walls and other giant trampolines for hours of fun!

For a peaceful stopover between two days of sightseeing, visit Lac de Montaubry, located near Le Creusot, in the commune of Le Breuil. This vast, winding lake with its sandy beaches is very bucolic and wooded. It's a popular spot for bathing (supervised from time to time at Plage des Patins), fishing from the shore or from a boat, as well as more sporting activities such as paddle-boarding, windsurfing and water-skiing. A wild and friendly place to unwind.

Lac de Montaubry, not far from Le Creusot, is an ideal shady spot for a day's swimming or fishing. It's also a popular spot for board sports. To make the most of it, contact the members of Ski nautique club Montaubry, who offer water-ski and wake-board baptisms, as well as sessions for the initiated. The activity is open to everyone aged 5 and over. Even if you've never done it before, you'll soon find the sensations exhilarating.

In the middle of the forêt au Duc, the eight-hectare shallow Griottier-Blanc pond is home to a population of salmonids, farios and bows. Only fly-fishing is permitted. It's an unspoilt place where peace reigns, where the murmur of the water joins the silence of the forest. The site also offers a pleasant setting for a bucolic stroll or for cooling off in summer. This pleasant stretch of water in the middle of the forest is an ideal destination for a day out with the family, or a late afternoon romantic getaway to enjoy the setting sun.

In the summer, there are many possibilities to discover the surroundings. Why not enjoy the Saône-et-Loire from the water? Rent a single or two-seater kayak, choose your circuit and a shuttle will bring you to the starting point (6 km from Saunières, 10 km from Pontoux or 14 km from Navilly). You can then navigate independently towards Verdun-sur-le-Doubs. For the more athletic, a bike and kayak package allows you to combine the two activities in one day. You will appreciate the landscape in all its forms.

The Great Lake Clairvaux-les-Lacs beach has an asset that differentiates it from others: a dive, at the end of the pier. Only 4 on-site diving sites exist in France! In 1945, the construction of the jetty was begun to create improvised swimming facilities for sports structures. In 1948 a dive on the pier by the commune was prepared. In 1997, the structure was consolidated with metal structures with today 3 supermounted fountains in platforms (3 m, 5 m, and 7.50 m). A rescue station is located nearby. A beach chair for disabled guests is available. The waters of the Grand Lake and the fine sandy beach are the ideal place for a summer stop in complete safety: the site is well maintained and bathing is monitored. It is possible to sail, rent a canoe, a mountain bike… Playground, children's games, picnic area, snack and restaurant, everything is planned for a pleasant day.

In Chalaux, in the heart of France's Morvan region, Noémie Cazin and Aurélien Noble have been offering rafting, hydrospeed and canoeing trips for the past four years. The experience begins with participants being fully equipped with neoprene wetsuit, socks, jacket, lifejacket and helmet. Once ready, they head for the starting point, some 20 minutes away, to admire the Morvan countryside. Instructor Aurélien reminds them of the safety instructions before setting off on the Chalaux. Along the way, he shares his passion for nature, detailing the flora and fauna of the Morvan. Participants can also try their hand at the sensational washing machine test. The descent continues with category 3 or 4 rapids, requiring a good hold on the rope. After an hour and a half's descent, Noémie welcomes participants back to dry land with tea and coffee.
