CHEMIN DE FER DE LA CORSE (CFC)

Train

The tourist train nicknamed "the beach train" runs between Calvi and L'Île-Rousse, with five round trips a day from Monday to Sunday. Between L'Île-Rousse and Calvi, the line winds along creeks and beaches, and all you have to do is raise your hand to board this antique Micheline. The arrival is always spectacular, as the train drops you off right on the beach. It also runs to Bastia and Ajaccio, with a change at Ponte-Leccia.

The port of Macinaggio, named after its windmills, is the Cap Corse marina and the largest on the peninsula.
