CAFFÈ CONTI
Read moreThe few tables set up in front of the door of the café are quickly taken over by the regulars at the time of the passeggiata. Tourists usually fall back on the side terrace, a little away from the bustle of the town hall square. The place lends itself to the discovery of Ichnusa, the Sardinian beer, or a local white wine like vermentino. Planks of cold cuts and cheese and a limited selection of pasta are served at meal times. The position is ideal for taking in the square at a glance and watching the strollers.
ANTICO CAFFÈ LAMARMORA
Read moreThe beautiful facade of Caffè La Marmora is sure to catch your eye and will undoubtedly make you pull out your camera. Located at the top of Via Matteotti, the one with the umbrellas, this small bistro has a loyal local clientele that comes at any time of the day to enjoy a ristretto or a glass of white wine. We fell in love with this pocket handkerchief room, its small terrace facing the fountain and its tagged façade, but 1920s style. The address smells like the Italian art of living, where you take your time watching people go by.
