The IOC is attached to the Ministry of National Education. You can find information on training, opportunities and professions for free. The institutions are attached to an IOC according to the school card. It is the établissemens of the South area that depend on the IOC on the rue de la Source. The centre is open in the morning, only for autodocumentation (no adviser). No Internet site. So you really need to move around the many resources.

You hit the right door. In addition to an ongoing and constantly updated documentation fund, you will find appropriate listening and accompaniment to the BIJ. Furthermore, you will have access to the Internet for your searches.

The city of Orléans has 74 public schools - kindergarten and primary - 10 colleges and 5 high schools. With regard to schools, their location, to know the school map and how to proceed with exemptions from the school card, that is where you need to address. You will also be informed about the registration procedures in the different establishments. There is now a Family space, for the questions of quotients and the various folders.

The CROUS, or Centre Régional des oeuvres Universitaires et Scolaires, is the reference establishment for all students in the Orleans-Tours academy. Student grants, housing in university residences, university restaurants, but also a cultural service which proposes the Student Cultural Passport (the famous PCE!), or social assistants... If you are a student, with or without a grant, the CROUS offers you its help to improve your living and working conditions. So don't hesitate to browse the website or to push the door to ask for advice without any apprehension. The delays are sometimes long, but it is worth waiting.

The Maison des Adolescents d'Orléans offers an essential service to young people and their families. This preventive mental health center welcomes adolescents and young adults in need of support quickly, free of charge and unconditionally. The multidisciplinary team carefully assesses each situation and offers personalized support, either in-house or through referral to expert services. The aim is always to promote the young person's well-being, helping him or her to overcome the difficulties that stand in the way of self-fulfilment. The center offers a gateway for those going through a complicated period in their lives.

You're young and you don't yet know what you want to do in life? Don't worry, you're not alone. The IOC team is here to welcome you and guide you. On site, you have access to a documentation room with a large number of paper tools to help you see more clearly (files, magazines, job descriptions, etc.). But the best thing is to ask to be received by a guidance counsellor-psychologist, free of charge, so that you can feel accompanied, supported and advised. The interviews are confidential. Orientation forums and career conferences are held regularly throughout the year, which makes it possible to go through all the professions in one day.
