Created in 1937, the Basketwork Cooperative is the largest French manufacturer of wicker basketry. Villaines-les-Rochers is home to the Vannerie Romand'art workshop. Catherine Romand, who graduated from the basketry school in 1981, offers unique creations in art basketry. Creations include furniture, baskets, cradles, live wicker and sculptures. La Vannerie can work on projects from all over France.
