FÊTES DE LA NAVIDAD (NOËL)

As in all of Spain, the Christmas party, navidad, is very celebrated. And it is often preceded by numerous Christmas markets with a lot of santons and nativity scenes, belén. It retains its religious aspect although it follows the overall evolution of a more consumerist festival. However, it is not Santa Claus who brings the presents, as the children have to wait until 6 January, the date that coincides with the coming of the Magi, or Reyes Magos.
