RÉVEILLON DU 31

The end-of-year festivities are a highlight in Greece, where the two-week period is non-stop. December 31 is doubly celebrated, as it marks not only the start of the New Year, but also, and above all, Saint Basil's Day for children. Although many of them have already been served on December 25, it is normally on this occasion that presents are distributed and vasilopita is eaten. Otherwise, we eat, drink and watch fireworks. And some brave parents wrap last-minute presents afterwards!
