Crafts to discover Brittany

The professionals of the Métiers d'Art of Pont-Scorff open their doors to you to make you discover or rediscover the world of art crafts: jewellery, cutlery, lighting, painting, miniature scenes, weaving and tapestry... You will also be able to meet more than sixty creators from here and elsewhere gathered in a single place: the Court of Artistic Crafts. You will find unique pieces in ceramics, clothing, calligraphy, lighting, sculptures... If you would like to meet the craftsmen of Pont-Scorff, don't hesitate to open the door of their workshop. Land of culture and folklore, Brittany claims its traditions. In Belle-Isle-en-Terre, it's Fanch the Saber who will present his city and his art. Through a fifteen-step interpretive circuit, Fanch revives the history of the village as it knew it at the end of the nineteenth century. From the Tourist Office to the Sabotage, the road shows us the workshops of the blacksmith's blacksmith's forge and the key places of the time (the mill, the prison, the royal postal relay, etc.). With the Maison des Toiles in Saint-Thélo, the atelier museum du Tissage is part of the Lin road. It refers to a territory that extended from Quintin to Loudéac, passing through Uzel, Saint-Thélo and Chatelaudren, which produced, between the th and th centuries, Brittany's finest quality canvases worldwide. Created in 1938, the house Levacher - the last sabers in Ille-et-Vilaine - continues to manufacture its hooves in the purest traditional tradition. Specializing in the manufacture of beech and beech hooks, his reputation is no longer to be done.
