From Quiberon, you will have the possibility to go to Belle-Île, Houat or Hoëdic, the last two being smaller islands (120 inhabitants for Hoëdic) and wilder than the first one. To get there, it will take 45 minutes to cross to Belle-Île with 5 return trips per day in low season and up to 12 in high season. To get to Houat, it will take 40 minutes (2 return trips in low season and up to 5 in high season, as for Hoëdic which has a crossing time of 55 minutes). I

To reach the inhabited islands of the Iroise Sea, the most used means of transport remains the boat. For example, the Penn ar Bed shipping company runs round round trips between the Molène and Ouessant Islands from Brest and Conquet. At any time, except for a very large storm, the shipping link is insured daily. During the tourist season, the company has a new port of departure and arrival: Camaret, on the Crozon peninsula. During this period, it also puts in place additional schedules. Once the foot is placed on the boat, you can only enjoy the landscape. LE PORT DU VIEUX-PASSAGE

Port

2 reviews

It is a small fishing village, a quiet port nestled in a cove of the Ria. The port of Vieux-Passage lives to the rhythm of the fishermen waiting for the right moment to take to the sea and deposit their traps. Its location has made it a strategic position since the 1st century BC. Before the construction of the Lorois Bridge, a ferry linked the Vieux-Passage to the opposite bank, the port of Étel. After the destruction of this bridge by the war and then its reconstruction, the ferryman resumed service. Still in use today, it is a charming moment.

PORT DE PLAISANCE DE CONCARNEAU

The port of Concarneau is a must. Its location, leaning against the ramparts of the walled city, offers a remarkable historical setting. It stretches as far as the Cabellou peninsula in the Kersaux cove. The joys of the port in the town centre allow sailors to take advantage of the shops and restaurants. For passing boats, the marina provides a "visitors" pontoon in the fore-port! The advantage: the port is easily accessible thanks to a complete buoyage system.
