Located in the heart of District 1, Tandoor is one of the best Indian restaurants in Saigon. Since 1997, it has been serving delicious recipes, including Punjabi specialties cooked in the tandoor (clay oven),curries, dosas (thin pancakes) from South India, vegetarian dishes and also halal meat... Without forgetting the famous naans to accompany your meal. The setting is sumptuous and the room spacious. Excellent service by a very welcoming staff. Recommended. A second establishment has recently opened in Le Thanh Tôn.

FOODSHOP 45

Indian restaurant €€
5/5
1 review

Family-run restaurant opened in 2002 and has built up an excellent reputation over the years to become a classic, frequented by young Vietnamese as well as expatriates and tourists. Pleasant location on the shores of Lake Truc Bach. Upstairs, a more intimate room with low tables for those who don't mind sitting on the floor. Good North Indian cuisine: curries, samosas, nan... And yet, the owner is Vietnamese. Her little brother officiates in the kitchen. Reasonable prices and fresh beer.

INDIAN KITCHEN

Indian restaurant €€

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Vietnam... says the menu. And the competition is becoming tough, because Indian restaurants are multiplying. In Saigon, Hôi An or Hanoi, one must surely think that the Haiphong colleague, a little isolated, has taken the big head! So it may not be the best, but the cuisine is pleasant and constitutes a nice alternative for those who would like to make infidelities to the local cuisine. The menu is exhaustive and the classics do not disappoint. The establishment is appreciated by the tourist clientele.

GOA INDIAN RESTAURANT

Indian restaurant

For a change of pace, why not try Indian food? The menu features the classics of Indian cuisine: various curries, excellent samosas, tasty naans ... The owners are originally from southern India, so the menu features a number of specialties from their region, including good, mild coconut milk curries, accompanied by masala chai (spiced tea), a refreshing mango lassi or a Vietnamese beer. Bollywood hits add a gentle touch to your meal. A warm welcome.

GANESH INDIAN RESTAURANT

Indian restaurant €€

A good Indian restaurant installed here, faithful to the history and tradition of Hôi An, maritime crossroads of Southeast Asia. On the menu: specialties from all regions of India, unfortunately not very spicy in order to satisfy both local and western palates. We particularly recommend the shrimp curry with mango. Mixed clientele between Vietnamese, Indians and Westerners, with business clientele without the atmosphere becoming pretentious. Samosas, paneer pakoras (cheese fritters) and tandoori chicken.

NAMASTE HANOI

Indian restaurant

Authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. Opened in July 2011, the restaurant is popular with customers, although the setting, with its kitschy airport lobby feel, lacks charm and personality. It offers a wide variety of specialities from northern and southern India. The traditional tandoor produces delicious naan. Indian travellers passing through Hanoi find themselves in great numbers in the establishment and are full of praise for the cuisine. Pretty good sign.... Attentive and discreet service that can even be French-speaking.
