Red Fish Blue Fish is one of Victoria's best fish & chip spots. This food truck is located on the docks of Victoria Harbour and you take your sandwich to eat at the outdoor tables facing the marina. All of the fish used for the sandwiches is caught according to sustainable fishing principles. Locals and tourists alike love this place, which is why there is often a long line in front of it. Be patient, it is worth the detour!

Snack bars are all the rage, but what sets this one apart is its eco-responsible approach, which won it the "Tourisme responsable et durable" award at the Prix excellence tourisme in 2023. On the gourmet side, the homemade fries and poutines are a big draw, but the entire menu is worth a detour, with vegetarian and/or gluten-free options to boot. Nice terrace area (part of which is covered) and some indoor seating too. We recommend it!

We couldn't wait to try out this address, and we weren't disappointed! Of course, we enjoyed a lobster guédille, the emblem of the place, accompanied by a Virgin Bloody from its little brother, the Shack à slush, located right next door. It was simply DELIGHTFUL, all seated on a lovely open-air site overlooking the sea. The menu also includes other sliders (shrimp, crab, etc.), paninis, veggie bowls and more. Bonus: chalets, trailers and camping pitches can be rented right on the site to stretch the pleasure. A truly top-notch address!

Certainly our friendliest and most colorful address in the area, the Chez Mélo food truck is a must-stop on the way to Parc de la Mauricie. And don't be fooled, you could well put down roots there, especially as in addition to the tasty dishes (burritos, tacos, burgers, etc.), the place boasts a large garden area with picnic tables, chairs, fireplaces and even sand for that little tropical look. Also on site and by the same owners: café-bistro (very bohemian) and accommodation, including a brand-new youth hostel.

The potato caravan is well known in Tadoussac - and even beyond - and is highly reputed for its fries, the know-how of which goes back several decades. All the great snack classics are on the menu, from the ultra-popular cheese burgers to the grilled cheese, not to mention the poutine, which comes in a dozen versions. But we repeat, you absolutely must try the fries, which are gladly accompanied by the house maple mayonnaise. A delight!
