The bus station is located in the same building as the train station, in the heart of the city (Lower Town sector). Five bus companies serve the station, including the two largest, Orléans Express (many daily connections with Montreal) and Intercar. Tickets can be purchased on site or online. There is also a small bus station in Sainte-Foy on Chemin des Quatre-Bourgeois. Several communities in the Quebec City area are also served by intercity buses.

The Réseau de Transport de la Capitale offers bus services (serving the entire city), Métrobus (serving activity centres) and eXpress (weekday rush hour service). On Fridays and Saturdays, nearly fifteen bus lines provide a service for night owls (only a few trips are offered at night). Two bus lines (76 and 80) also serve Jean-Lesage International Airport. During off-peak hours, the maximum wait is 15 minutes. Cab Coop also offers service to Quebec City's Jean-Lesage International Airport (flat rate of CAN$41.40 for downtown, CAN$47.60 between 11pm and 5am). The company also offers personalized city tours (book at least 24 hours in advance).

Ferry service to L'Isle-aux-Grues, from April to December. Free. Duration: 25 minutes. Hours of different crossings depending on month (between 4 to 1 per day).

Outside peak hours, you should expect to wait no more than 15 minutes. Cab Coop also offers transportation to/from Montreal-Trudeau airport (flat rate of CAN$48.40 to downtown, CAN$55.65 between 11pm and 5am) and breakdown services (boosting, unlocking doors, etc.).

The Ontario Northland bus company connects Ottawa and Toronto with cities in central, northern and western Ontario, even as far away as Winnipeg, Manitoba. You'll find buses to Cochrane, Hearst, Huntsville, Kenora, North Bay, Parry Sound, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Temagami, Thunder Bay, Timmins and Wawa. This is the only way to reach this island isolated from the rest of the archipelago. The crossing aboard the Ivan Quinn takes about an hour. Even if cars are accepted, we recommend that you go on foot, as the island is more suitable for hiking. Space is also limited on board, so reservations are not a luxury, and show up at the dock 20 minutes before the ferry leaves. No service on Christmas or New Year's Day.

Commonly referred to as Green P, this corporation, which is part of the City of Toronto, manages municipal parking in the city. Fares are often cheaper than with bus companies such as Megabus, but the trip is longer due to the many stops and possible transfers. Be aware that there is a customer service center at Union Station (open from 5:45 a.m. to 12:45 a.m., starting at 6 a.m. on weekends).

Another well-known cab company in Toronto. It has partnered with Crown Taxis to serve a larger territory in the Greater Toronto Area, including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke and East York. Co-op Cabs also offers service to both Toronto airports.

Located on the Harbourfront, next to the bike paths, this specialized company rents hybrid bikes but also family bikes (two places for children + one place for adults) and electric bikes. Rentals are by the hour ($15 CDN, plus $5 CDN per additional hour), for 24 hours ($40 CDN) and for two days ($70 CDN - $20 CDN per additional day) - more expensive for the family bike and the electric bike. Depending on the period, there are from one to three crossings per day, which last one hour and a half. Please note that campers are not allowed on board.
