The local bus that serves the main attractions of the city centre and circulates every 30 minutes. It also hosts ferry arrivals from Magnetic Island.

Public Transport Victoria covers the city's public transport network (buses, trains and streetcars). Outside the Free Tram Zone, a valid ticket (Myki card) is required. The O-Bahn line, designed by the German company Daimler-Benz, is a bus line with part of its route on an impassable track (with low concrete walls on both sides). It was established in 1986 to relieve traffic congestion in the northeastern suburbs and provide quick access to the Tea Tree Plaza shopping area. It is 12 kilometers long and has three stops from Currie Street or Grenfell Street in downtown Adelaide: Klemzig Station, Paradise Interchange and Tea Tree Plaza Interchange.

A reloadable electronic payment card is in place: the Opal card. This card avoids the purchase of multiple tickets and allows travel on the entire Sydney network.
