Small fruit and vegetable market on Mediteranska Street, on the first floor of a shopping center. At this type of market, you'll be up close and personal with the people of Montenegro and their regional specialties. It's a great idea to stroll through these alleys, where you can buy souvenirs and products directly from the locals. Prices are lower than in seaside souvenir stores.

Rožaje regularly hosts two fruit and vegetable markets. The first one is located next to the bus station and offers the full range of market goods. The second, more picturesque market is located on the other side of the river. Farmers from the neighbouring villages sell tasty sausages, delicious sheep's cheese and fruit and vegetables from their own fields. Here you can taste real organic food in a festive atmosphere.

This covered market is one of the most picturesque in the country and as such is worth a visit. You can find everything in abundance: cheese, eggs, fruit and vegetables, olives, olive oil and even tobacco from Ostros, near Lake Skadar. A real souk, an oriental atmosphere with the sound of the calls to prayer from the surrounding mosques as the population of this town is mostly Muslim.
