On the menu: homemade burgers, ćevapčići (grilled beef rolls) and salads. You can also come here for a simple drink and spend an afternoon strolling around. In short the perfect place to meet the local youth and maybe pick up some good tips from the locals in Rožaje.

A restaurant that does not look like much, but provides traditional, quality cuisine. The Gold restaurant has been in Rožaje for over thirty years and is known for its hearty grilled meat dishes. It has a large hall on the ground floor and a small terrace on the first floor. Family atmosphere, where the komšija (neighbours) come to hear the news, sometimes just to have a drink and pass the time. Correct service, but nothing more. An address to come with your family or to take the pulse of the local population.

It's a 15-20 minute walk from the main street in the city centre, then straight up to the park before the monastery. The menu, translated into English and French, focuses on Italian dishes (pizzas, pasta...) but also offers some grilled and cooked dishes such as goulash for example. A good value for money for this restaurant of standing: a good step, therefore, before continuing your road.

Housed in a large, light yellow house on the main square in the town centre, this unpretentious café-restaurant is a good place for a simple, inexpensive meal. The café, which is particularly pleasant in cold weather, is one of the busiest in the city. The restaurant, without frills, allows to eat in a comfortable setting, even if the menu is singularly reduced in the evening. Good to know: you can find the association of the mountain dwellers of the region there. The only drawback is the rather rustic service!

The food and service are excellent, and the presentation of the dishes is neat and chic. For a romantic evening!

This restaurant overlooking the marina is a nice surprise. The cuisine is made up of Italian specialities but also fish and seafood. Extra fresh fish, clam pasta, risottos, pizzas and pastas: the choice is yours. Excellent wine list. The service is fast and friendly, the bill is a bit higher but worth it! Try the beef and pear carpaccio, a delight! The view of the sea and the boats from the large windows is breathtaking and the atmosphere is relaxed with a modern decor. You're sure to enjoy it!

In Montenegrin, przun means prison! But don't be mistaken, the atmosphere is very friendly. Impossible to miss this restaurant with its gigantic artificial seagull which overhangs the beautiful terrace of the establishment. You can come for a breakfast, to taste a good local beer but especially for the beautiful display of fresh fish at the entrance of the restaurant and its specialities of grills which are elaborated with a last generation oven conceived for this purpose (visited kitchen!). All this with a very attentive service.

You can find all kinds of pasta, accompanied by homemade sauces prepared with fresh and local products. The setting is friendly and the atmosphere warm. The portions are generous and the dishes are served quickly. Early arrival or reservations are recommended as this popular restaurant can be crowded in high season.
