In 1976, Edouard des Grottes, a banana grower, wishing to promote the wealth of his island, planted all sorts of varieties at the foot of Mount Pelee: anthuriums, heliconias, alpinias, ginger flowers… From the cutting to the reception of the flowers in mainland France, in less than 24 hours! The flowers are harvested the same day they are shipped and taken to the airport. The company, led by Edouard's grandson, delivers throughout France.
