This small bar on the outskirts of the city center boasts a hushed, intimate decor. Naturally, on sports days, there are live broadcasts, and numerous themed evenings (poker, karaoke, concerts, etc.).

A simple café located next to the Tourist Office. The menu offers a wide range of beverages (coffees, teas, soft drinks, wines and beers), as well as snacks and tapas (paninis, burgers, gourmet plates) to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the Maroni. Perfect for a stopover at any time of day! And as for the name, every year the association organizes a nautical rally linking Tobago & Trinidad to Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni via Guyana and Suriname.

A must when you're passing through, for a drink with your feet in the sand, in a relaxed atmosphere. Music-wise, there's a little bit of everything, but mostly electro and current hits. Numerous armchairs made from salvaged materials are set around a truck painted in warm colors, giving the place that bohemian je-ne-sais-quoi. Better known as Distrimatik (the shop's primary vocation is to supply food products and vending machines to the hotel and catering trade), La Maison du Café has gradually become a veritable center of social activity in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni. Located in the heart of the city, the store has opened a cafeteria-tea room. People come here for a fresh local fruit juice, breakfast or a frugal snack on the terrace. Delicatessen on site.

It's the kind of establishment that's been missing from Montjoly beach! So here, at last, is a very pleasant snack bar on the sand, where you can relax in the afternoon after enjoying the beach. There's a wide choice of juices and cold drinks (including, of course, Jeune Gueule, the local beer), as well as Brazilian specialities to nibble on. If you're feeling a bit peckish, we especially recommend the delicious cod acras! The ideal place for a short break before heading out again at nightfall to watch the turtles lay their eggs.

A cosy lounge bar where you can enjoy a cocktail in the lounge area or on the terrace. There's a wide choice, including some twenty different cocktails with or without alcohol, twenty types of rum and just as many beers (including some fine Belgian labels), some forty whiskies and a wide selection of champagnes. On karaoke nights, the bar is packed and the atmosphere is electric. On other evenings, the atmosphere is more serene and intimate.

The Hitbox is Cayenne's coolest bar for lively evenings out, on the terrace listening to a concert, or inside playing table soccer (free and open access) and 2 consoles with Fifa and Mario Kart at your disposal! The bar offers a wide range of cocktails. On Tuesdays, for example, it's Jam night, but check the online program to find out what you like. After 11pm, the band clears the space and you can dance on the dance floor. If you don't like crowds, opt for weekday evenings.
